Back In the day, i was "too cool" to admit i liked her.....when I finally got a clue, and realized that "cool" was not caring what others thought. Now, I love her. I still listen to the old stuff. At 61, I really did not follow Debbie's career but enjoy her honest vibe, not to mention she is beautiful today. 'ONLY IN MY DREAMS' was a song I would always turn up and start dancing to since its release in the 80's, and never knew who performed it .....what can I say! What a great diverse career I am learning from this interview. I already saw clips from Grease UK, and Cabaret NYC ....who knew. Hey, never too late. I copied Debbie's back cover of Electric Youth look back in the day and I STILL dress that way - well, the sneakers and jean shorts part. I even got a promo EY pencil and pennant when I bought my EY CD but I've lost them somewhere in some move. And I've been waiting for a reason to visit Vegas - Deb would be it! Loved this - thank you Noah!

I loved that she mentioned The Party. They were formed off the All-New Mickey Mouse Club a few seasons before the better-known cast members were even on the show. Very talented teens.
People affect others in positive ways. I didnt have to search, Debbie found me! HOurs of singing her albums. I just turned 41 and I live in Chicago. I was the guy who called the radio DJs at the gay bars, when I was young, before the internet took off. I found what I needed. Debs new song is hauntingly beautiful. Stuck in my head.... Love you Debbie! Of course I go running from vegas and your there now. I hope you are liking it! I did 3 years there. Now I am back in my hometown of Chicago!

I remember seeing her in concert when I was in 8th grade. It was one of the best nights of my life. I’m 43 now and I still love her!!!!! 💕
