From Tommy's solo to about a minute afterwards, it's like total 80s overload, from the female background singers in their frilly skirts rockin' their arms back and forth, to the male backup dancers in Canadian tuxedos, mullets galore, and the swaying dance moves topped off with Debbie's high energy pep, it's like totally condensed "1988" in a bottle. I love it.
She was the real deal. No auto tone, backing tracks or lip syncing....I went to HS with her and had a major crush on this one. Even when walking the hallways with my girlfriend at the time. Lol

I love how she takes this live and just goes with it!! Deborah is amazing no matter what era of her career she is in......A come back would be nice but no matter what, she has us hard core loyal fans....so in my heart, she is always #1
@@AtticusBleep Not surprised. She single-handedly wrote all the songs in her 1st album at 13 - 15, and she produced or co-produced most of them. No body knows these songs better than her. And she performed about 30 similar concerts before recording it, she was well-prepared.
Debbie Gibson was such a blast of fireworks!! And what an amazing voice and lovely personality...the 80's wouldn't be half as good without her energy and beautiful spirit!
Yes! She was actually sick as a dog with bronchitis when she recorded Foolish Beat & Out of the Blue... she asked to record these on another day, but was told the studio could only record her that day and that day only.
They should release this concert in DVD or BluRay! This concert version of Out of The Blue is way better than the studio version. I managed to extract an MP3 of this version😁
