Marvel has always had "the X-Men rights." The only thing they didn't have was the *LIVE-ACTION MOVIE RIGHTS* to X-Men.
They always owned the X-Men; it was only the film rights that Disney didn't have. They could've made this show a long time ago.

He is just more pro-active in attacking authorities punishing mutants but doesn't go out of his way to bring in human civilians in the crossfire nor put them in the crosshairs of his targets. The closest revolution shit he advocated for was straight up just a peaceful protest in Washington
Nah I think the genocide In Genosha changed Magneto again and he’ll go back to his old ways, realizing he tried to give humans a chance but it all failed.
This time Cyclops might join him as we can see he’s also slowly losing his faith in the human and mutant co-existence dream Charles had.
Can’t wait to see where this is all headed, we’re only 3 episodes away from Season 1 ending.

Cyclops doesn't agree with Magneto nor does he agree with Professor X. He is in between them.
He sees humans for how they treat mutants, but he isn't going to needlessly attack them.

One thing I love about this show is that they take multiple arcs from different storylines over the years, and they made it flow nicely and they made sense. For the most part.

Throughout the entire first season of X-Men 97, have you noticed that Wolverine is getting less focus? That’s a good thing because back in the day, he was the main focus from the Fox movies to animation, leaving almost all of the characters sidelined. So seeing Cyclops getting the attention he deserves is a relief.

X men 97 just keeps on getting better and better
Truthfully I think Cyclops is a good mixture of Magneto and Xavier's ideals. Comic wise, they leaned into the worse aspects of both, Magneto's anger and defensiveness for mutantkind and Xavier's self centered view of how his way was the right way. 97's seems to balance both more approachably. Cyclops cares about the human allies he does have, tries democracy, but is willing and able to call out bullshit and will strike if the time comes.
Honestly I love it. Seeing him and Rogue and more of our beloved heroes reacting to the ongoing tragedy and hatred and bigotry with their own darkness... it's definitely sad but also very empathetic and emotionally charged. I'm all for it!
I mean if you noticed in the OG series up until midway through 97 they held on to hope that maybe someday things could change but after Rogue lost Gambit and saw all the mutant deaths and after Scott lost Madeline and saw the disaster they’re changing and I’m willing to bet that once Magneto changes his ways again back to extreme methods Cyclops and Rogue would join him maybe we’d have a civil war where Magneto leads one faction (including some X-Men like Rogue and Cyclops) that is dedicated to mutant preservation and retaliation against mutants and another faction led by a returned Charles Xavier that still tries to fight for human-mutant co-existence.

Cyclops is in my top 3 of favorite superheroes so seeing him get the respect he deserves in this show is such a treat
Yes Wolverine is cooler but he also is a hothead and loner at heart. Scott is the leader of X-MEN and with that comes so much responsibility. He sets himself to be an example of Xavier's vision but soon begins to question it as time goes on. He is such an interesting and complex character that I'm always rooting for. In the world of the X-MEN it is a fight of survival and striving for acceptance but also doing the right thing even in the face of such horrible adversity. Scott has his flaws but how he strives to be a good man and protect the ones he loves makes him my favorite of The X-MEN and there is so many good stories to explore with him. I think Xavier's vision is more dangerous and someone like Scott is the one to lead them on the right path as long as he always stays grounded in who he is.

This Cyclops is the most believable evolution of the character and how a person would be in real life. He’s a mutant but still human. This makes him more relatable.

Now let’s be fair to Cyclops… his ideology MAY resemble magneto’s on the surface but it’s nothing like it:
Magneto is a mutant supremacist that would gladly erase the whole human race if possible. The irony of his character is that he became mutant Hitler.
Revolutionary Cyclops is simply “self-defensive violence”, he won’t attack any human who is innocent and willing to talk, he will take the diplomatic route first, but he is simply not hesitant on preparing the mutants for war or giving ultimatums to goverments.
Charles is peaceful revolution, Cyclops is common revolution and Magneto is all out war.

I like this version of scott, he's got dimensions he's got real character. I think that's what we've been lacking, and I think that's why I never really cared for him as a character too much. Now he's got attitude and personality.
I don’t think revolutionary Scott was saying Magneto was right. More that realizing Prof X way was incomplete and mutants needed to stop taking crap and stand up for themselves. Magneto usually goes too far
And attacks humans. Scott didn’t do that. He was willing to do what it takes to save his people but he wasn’t dropping buildings on cities. He fused together bits from Charles
and Erik to stand on his and lead.
Which is why it was so great to see Magneto come to Scott and choose to follow him. Showed how he saw how Scott had become the voice that mutants should stand behind.
Dude Cyclops is going to be fire if this arc is used, and we want to se more of captain america, i suggest you make a video on his appearance.

Being a pacifist isn’t an indication of strong mental health, just the opposite it shows extreme fragility. Scott isn’t becoming more aggressive due to mental health deterioration, but rather it’s a surge of passion. He’s simply changing from a man seeking to maintain peace to a man intending to fight to reclaim it. Easy times, weak mean, hard times…Scott is entering the beginning of the end of said hard times, and it’s through the strength of the passion of good men that your side prevails.

Cyclops is a mixture of Magneto and Professor X. He sees he needs to prtoect mutants and will fight to do so, but will not needlessly attack humans. He will defen humans, but not at the cost of mutants.
I always found his red suit so bad ass it’s like the equivalent to the black suit for Spider-Man or the blue suit for Invincible
