INTERIOR DESIGN PLUS!!!! Whomever designed the interior is ridiculously good. To have soooooo many different colours, patterns and textures, including so many objects and it all somehow works perfectly. Theres no sense of feeling overwhelmed and saturated in chaos. So whomever did the interior, well done, you certainly have a talent.

I really enjoyed watching this video and I love that it's labeled as a "tiny home" but it's got more living space than the usual ones! I've seen some other companies doing this but yours is a different, more unique concept.

A single retired person like myself would love something like this.
Cleverly laid out spaces, deceptively spacious with floods of light through the focal entrance..great design and we'll thought out.. would work great with a large enough plot without neighbouring disturbances, as these buildings would otherwise need soundproofing through out to maintain privacy. This building is a piece of art that needs its own surrounding to capture the essence of full indulgence in harmonious living❤️

I've seen a lot of nice houses during the last yearS - shipping containers, etc - but this one is perfect for me.
At the ground floor it may be an office instead of a bedroom, or in the atic...!

Change the roof pitch and reposition the Ridge beam and the stair might shake out a bit better. Nice layout. Not sure why it has to be a shipping container. Structure reads more framed than box but I do like it.

I know it’s too funny LOL. I also get a kick out of the renovation shows… Where a couple is expecting their second child, and they have completely outgrown their 2000 square-foot house and need a bigger one, with four bathrooms 🤣🤣🤪

@@gloriastreet4684 Yes and when people are house hunting and they enter the huge kitchen and say 'no I can't live in a house with such a small kitchen' when in fact they don't actually cook and always ask where the nearest restaurants are! Or again they begin to build their dream house and get pregnant at the same time ! Or as you say ' I need four bathrooms' !
Why would you say that when Australia's typical home size is larger than the US's and when typical homes in Canada and all of the larger countries in Europe are similar in size to a typical US home?

I love the style of this tiny home, and I love the comment the one person said about American tiny homes are normal size homes anywhere else. It's so true. I wish a lot of HGTV international homes and some of those homes are still smaller.

That is the first "tiny" shipping container house I've seen that I really, really like! I've flipped houses for a living. Your architect is a genius! Every one of the others in your videos is just as perfect, yet very different. Sadly I live in a county in Colorado that won't even allow modular homes or electric toilets. They are trying to stop "outsiders" from moving into "their" territory. It's crazy and we are famous throughout the Midwest for having lunatic building inspectors. I want one of these overlooking my pond!

Very interesting design. Now that wood prices are coming down some, we are thinking about building again and getting out of out 5th wheel. Caravan to many folks. Of all the many designs of container, and smaller stick built homes, we have looked at, this is the first one we both agree on, tho I wouldn't bother finishing the loft area since we have our 5th wheel for visitors and it would save a lot of time, money, and some extra space in the living area. We may have to build this.

How do you intend to attach the hand rail for the stairs when you have a sliding door behind it? You may also want to put rails at the top of the stairs so no one accidentally falls over the edge.
There is more than sufficient space between the pocket door cavity and the wall where the stair rail is secured.
Rails around the open stairwell would be required in most states, and the handrail wouldn't pass muster either, but those are easily fixed items...it's a lovely living space.

Building codes would require railings.
This house is obviously designed by someone not located in the US, Canada or any country that has any kind of building codes.

I’d like the design of the house it’s very roomy the only thing where is the television. Bathrooms are very nice, the kitchen is well designed love the washer and dryer location. The kitchen is functional, and I liked that there is a place to dine.

Very impressive, there is a lot to be said to have a small comfortable 'pad' in a nice location, rather than a huge house with the responsibilities and worries. Also this offers a solution to population issues. Again very impressive, an excellent video of a well designed home.

Railings are on one side only. Most tiny houses are like that. Why, I don't know.

Love the concept. Great idea with the two bathrooms, that is a major plus. The main detractor though is the kitchen. It is far too small for a 2/3 bedroom 2 bath to be functional, also no real storage or pantry for the kitchen. That's a big nope and huge design flaw for me. This only really works if you eat you a lot or have a year round garden.

@@TinyHouseOnField Thanks I love tiny homes, sustainable living, permaculture and the homesteading lifestyle. I am a big kitchen queen. The kitchen and garden are the hearts of the home for me. Unfortunately I currently live in a very affordable apartment. There is a decent size kitchen and more storage than most any apt I've lived in. Even with this I have two stand alone pantries. I unfortunately like a lot of different cuisines. So I have staples for cooking Japanese, Thai, Indian, Mexican and more. All of it takes up too much room. It's the only part of my life I'd find hard to pair down. I have moved around a lot in my life. Anyone who has knows more stuff is more hassle and tends to pair down out of necessity. The great thing about tiny houses is just how customizable they are. I've thought about doing 2 adjoining houses in like a V with one part with kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer so all the plumbing could be contained in one. The other with just electrical and a dry 1/2 bath with a sawdust toilet. I also want a Murphy bed/office desk to make a bedroom/office.

@@michaeloconnor1479 Curious what lamb has to do with this conversation?? It's not bad but definitely not my favorite. I'd rather have duck, bison, crab, scallops or chicken (mostly just the thighs.) My best creation is a simple side, baked sweet potato with lime sour cream. I do about 1:5 sour cream. Just enough lime so the texture is just a very bit looser. If it's runny it's too much lime. The sweet and sour flavors are amazing together.
