- In this weeks episode we meet Christine, a remarkable woman who has found personal freedom through living in a remarkable tiny home set amongst the rainforest.
This is a tiny house that has it all. It's beautifully constructed and filled with things which brings Christine joy, even including a piano!
With this stunning tiny house as a launch pad, Christine has taken full advantage of her easy-to-care-for home and lower overheads to do more of the things that she loves, including travel and music.

As I get older I look to having less in my life and stories like Christine's appeals to me. She has enough for her and her pet , but also enough for a visiting friend and/or family member. Id love to see a follow up when she has her solar set up installed.
I watch your show all the time and see many tiny houses but this one was my absolute favorite…. I loved the tall ceiling and two separate lofts, and the head room in her bedroom was perfect..

I'm not sure if Bryce was standing in the bedroom, or still on the stairs. Anyway, I like this tiny house a lot. :-)
@@Daniel-ij4pe Yes, it’s hard to tell if he was still on the stairs. Likely due to the Pano vision setting used for filming, which tends to distort what you’re seeing. So, being the curious cat sort of semi-OCD research/detective weirdo type…I MUST KNOW…so I watched it again.
It’s easier to stop a video when I use the Settings button (under the video) to reduce the Playing Speed to .75. So I stopped the video at 11:39, right where Bryce is standing by the window with the blue shade, on the white wall, and just as he enters the room.
Over his left shoulder is the wall with the interior wall with non-window opening that looks out over the living room. And behind him is the stairwell, as the two walls he’s standing near have different shades of light cast upon them. What I noticed was that I could see the top of that wall with the overlooking opening where it meets the ceiling, which told me he was in the room, not on the stairs. Problem solved? NO!
The weird thing was that his head was higher than the blue shade, and a bit later, when she walks away from her closet carrying a tan jacket, her head is also above that blue curtain, too. Which doesn’t make any sense, given she’s at least 5 or 6 inches shorter than him, as evidenced by other shots with both in the living room, before they headed upstairs.
SO! I’m blaming Pano vision……lol. I just think if he were on the top step, and yet still in her sleeping loft, that corner of her room had to have been cut out, so he could technically be in the room, but still on the top step, thus lower and not having reached the level of whole floor of the loft. If you stop it at 11:39, you’ll see it’s seems evident he’s IN the room, though.
Oh, and just for some giggles, crank the Playback Speed all the way UP, and listen to them sound like chipmunks while flitting around like little birds!
Ok. I’m going to go take my Crazy Pills now. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
@@bliss4383 great detective work. Have you considered that someone with Bryce's background in tiny house visiting might just have mastered the art of knee-standing? Where it looks like he's standing normally, but is actually kneeling? Although, we never get to see his feet and lower legs uncovered, so perhaps they're detachable?
@@ricos1497 Lol…. We’ll, I don’t think they’re detachable, and I don’t think he’s knee-standing here. If that were the case, then his head would be at least 12 inches lower than is pictured, yes? Like below the blue shade rather than above it.
@@bliss4383Bryce was standing on the staircase still.. I rewatch over & over again and found that the bedroom floor actually extended more than where the staircases ended on the top.. check it up yourself later at 11:33.. 🤭 or no need to guess, we can ask @bryce directly.. 🤭😂

This design was a winner. One thought that always amazes me is how spotlessly clean all these tiny homes are. They all look brand new or barely lived in. It's very impressive.
I imagine that they clean knowing that the world will see it once Bryce and Rasa come for a visit
The fact that it probably only takes a fraction of the time to clean compared to even an apartment also helps.

I live in a 2 story 4 bedroom house. Sometimes i wish i live in a small space with big yard. Its so hard to clean a big house.

I love how she can stand up in her sleeping area without compromising head room in the kitchen. It's rare to see that in mobile tiny houses, or at least the ones I've seen here on YT.

The stovetop is genius. A usable surface while covering the burners, and then an easy to clean backsplash while it's being used. Love how bright this home is, and the piano is just the icing on this tiny house cake.
I think this home is one of the most clever use of space and storage I’ve seen in awhile! It definitely checks all the boxes 😊

I think it's because she's been in it a few years already, so it was probably built just before construction costs skyrocketed. It would be more like 200-250k now at a minimum, based on similar designs.

Gorgeous ... and it's the "real furniture" pieces that makes the difference - a storage coffee table & the chest in the loft - far superior to allthis plywood. PIANO! you go girl!!!

I want a tiny home in the woods! Oh no wait . . . I have one. 😊 Such a lovely house. A piano -- that's a first. Extra storage by using two staircases, brilliant. Glass that folds down over the gas stove? High mirrors that don't distract, they just bounce light around. Such great ideas. I think that's the first person who talked about acoustics. Nice job. I especially like the additional "garage shelves" with the outside access. I wonder what other people do with their car and yard supplies.

Christine seems like such a lovely lady and a kind soul. Her tiny home is truly beautiful and intelligently designed. The living room looks very comfortable. A great place to relax. I've never seen a tiny house with inward-facing loft walls executed quite like this. I think it's a perfect design for her uses of those spaces, plus it looks nice. The kitchen is beautiful and looks quite functional. I love that she allowed room for a small table, making it an eat-in kitchen, which I adore. I can see myself living in this design very comfortably.
For the size, this is one of the best designs for one person. She has everything she needs and the deck really adds to the space. The only thing I might have changed would be to have the bedroom over the bathroom instead of the kitchen - but I'm assuming that might have been necessary for her to be able to stand up in the room. And the setting is breathtaking!

after watching so many of these tiny home videos , alot of them start to look the same but this is beautiful! i love how her house has two divided sides , she has a huge bedroom that you can stand in AND she has a garage.. if i was her my life would be complete 🥰

The moment the show opened with the scenes of the tiny situated amidst rainforests, you had me hooked. Perhaps the first time I did not want to hurry to see what it was like indoors. I didn't want to stop listening to the ambient sounds of cicadas. Wow. Thanks for including the sounds of the forest. I wish I could hear them once more at the end!
The indoors definitely gave me welcoming feelings of warmth. I loved everything about the indoors.
This land she is on has added a touch of tropical paradise to her beautifully thought out and executed home! She is lovely and so is her kitty! I wish them well together!

Even after all these videos, I'm constantly amazed that Bryce still finds insightful things to add...the wood fireplace to dry out...what a good tip. Never thought of it like that.

I've lived (almost my whole life) with wood-burning fireplaces. Three things that I never liked, is that they dry everything out, create dust/soot & leave the burning wood smell behind. If I lived in a damp area, I might appreciate the drying effect.
What I like about the wood-burning fireplace is the $$ savings, ambiance it creates, the crackling sounds and, in storm ridden South Carolina, we still have heat in winter, when the power fails.
What a lovely lady! She made a beautiful home n life for herself. It's very inspiring, and I'm going to look into this tiny living, cuz it's right up my alley! Thank you, Bryce, for another on point video!🤗

This tiny home is one of the best I’ve seen, the color scheme of the finishes, the quality of the fixtures.. the organization in the house, really easy on the eye and it fits her narrative to a tee!
The forests in that location are absolutely gorgeous. That is the type of setting I really want to live in.

Bryce, you and Rasa have presented some beautiful homes on your channel, in some spectacular locations... This one is my absolute favourite so far (along with the Colorado Shoe School bathroom😁👌🏼) Christine is such a lovely lady and i think she has an exceptional eye for colour. I love the red wall in the livingroom with little accents of that vibrant colour carried through to the bathroom. Her bedroom also has a beautiful colour scheme...so calming. As a more mature lady myself, i would absolutely love to live in a tiny home such as this. (I say "tiny", somehow Christine has achieved a mini mansion vibe inside) Also, i can't help wondering if her cats have made a video for TH-cam, showcasing their very comfy lounging options. 🤣💕🏠🌴🪴🌲💕
I think it's just one cat owning every loungeable available space 😊, that's what they do. The fact that there are so many cozy spots is a bonus for that pampered queen.
Having a bakers dozen it's impossible to not find one cuddled up in a spot of their choice somewhere in the house, although my bed is their absolute space to huddle especially on a cold and rainy day due to the fluffy blankies.

This design is by far the most spacious I have seen. It provides a home feel as well by adding a regular couch and inclusion of the piano is beautiful. Spectacular job!
What a lovely lady! Beautiful home design and truly gorgeous and serene spot. Amazing she designed it around the piano too! Love it! It really seems perfect and that stove with glass top, I haven't seen anything like that before but that's such a smart design and a very efficient use of space.

I love the layout on this one, especially those double lofts with steps. This is a really good size for a tiny house I think. I'm going to have to save this one to look back on when I start my building plans!
Christine's home is so very beautiful, as are so many of the things IN it. I absolutely love it!
Just love her lifestyle. She is healthy, enjoys her own life, a life which doesn't revolve around kids 24/7. A tiny house gives the freedom to not be stuck with the chores associated with a big regular house which takes up a big part of life.

Gorgeous design, this is a great investment. She really hit the nail on the head when she said owning your own home saves you from worrying about renting and being told "sorry got family moving in, or sorry we're selling the home" all those stresses are real when renting. Im so glad Christine got herself a beautiful "tiny home" she can enjoy and do all the travelling and things she wants and not be held back by ridiculous rental prices and stresses that come with it!! This tiny house is absolutely perfect!!! Great design!! An Bryce I'm from the United States, Iowa actually...and I've been watching you for years you are the most gracious host. I do have to tell you that my 26 yr old son could be your Doppelganger!! Right down to your length of hair (curls included) an facial hair!!! He's 6'7" (I don't know how tall you are) but you're I guess 6'1 or 2). Just as polite and gracious as you. Thank you Bryce for bringing these amazing tiny homes into our living rooms ❤️
All of the TH across the pond (I'm in the states) seem so superior design wise to what I see over here. And of course, the locations are so top notch on that side of the world as well. Who wouldn't want to be surrounded by such lush greenery?? The tall window by the stairs and the view is **chefs kiss** What a dream!
With proper planning, a tiny home is not so tiny after all. But not only do you need a good design for your tiny home, a good place to park it on is so essential as well and I love where she's parked hers. Amongst nature itself. 👍🏻

What a great design and build. She has a lot of stuff and seems to want for nothing. Truly amazing. This is definitely the most practical living space I've seen yet. It doesn't seem tiny at all.
