Pac was raised by the black liberation army, he was very well educated and militant minded, this is why NOBODY could fuck with him as an artist, his mentality was next level!
“I reminisce on the fast times, past crimes Tryin' to cop a slice of pizza with my last dime, can’t explain just what attracts me to this dirty game, Gold chains, some extra change, and the street fame” … Melodic as fuck, pac picked his words very carefully, intellectual was through the roof!

Just imagine He's alive and fighting with us and for us, for a better place, a better Earth. We love U Pac and U always will be remembered. Thank you for reppin this culture and thank you for helping to keep the the legacy of 2pac alive, as part of his fan base we all thank you. Keep doing what you're doing we love it
He said "The Three Strikes Law is getting drastic" If you don't know, California's Three Strikes Law is a sentencing scheme that gives defendants a prison sentence of 25 years to life if they are convicted of three or more violent or serious felonies. Three strikes law also doubles the prison sentence for people convicted of any California felony who have two violent felony or serious felony priors. Second strikers also receive a double sentence under PC 667. In a few cases, a third striker can receive 25 years to life even if their third offense is not a serious or violent felony. This will happen if: The third conviction is for a drug offense involving a certain quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, or related drugs. The third offense is a felony sex crime and/or requires sex offender registration. (There are exceptions to this for more minor sex crimes like indecent exposure.)The defendant used a firearm or was armed with a firearm or deadly weapon when they committed the third offense. The defendant intended to cause great bodily injury when they committed the third offense; OROne of the strike priors is on a shortlist of particularly serious offenses. These include “sexually violent” offenses, sex crimes involving children under 14, and murder or manslaughter.9
3 strikes law talking about the law in California. 3 felonies they will lock u up for life. Because a man stole some pizza. He already had 2 strikes, so it was his third so he got life in prison.
I studied English language and literature at a level and we used to study certain books like the hand maids tale etc, and its only there I learnt how imagery and various ways words can be interpreted was so diverse...am glad a person like yourself can help break down his raps cus honestly the way you break it down word for word helps paiint an even clearer picture of what he was trying to convey honestly
The line is "the THREE STRIKES law is drastic and certain death for us ghetto bastards" in reference to California's 3 strikes law where if you're convicted of a 3rd felony you're sentenced to 25 years.
When he says the bullshit made me represent.he means he was doing exactly what you are doing here in this channel my brother. you are being yourself and not giving a fuck what people say and want you to do, you are "Representin" who YOU are and that's what 2pac stood for.Pac would be proud dog, keep doing you and fuck the haters.
Yes it's the same. A daily occurrence. There was a time I couldn't sleep in a quiet countryside setting cause I was used to falling to gun shots and sirens. It was sad I had to get a cassette of recorded city sounds to get some sleep
Wohoo - another great reaction. 👌 One of my fav songs, especially the og version. Thanks for doing this one. Nicely pulled apart Hector, so much depth to this song.
Tupac Was 1 of My Favorite Artist. Spice 1 Was My First. Listen To 187 Proof...by Spice 1. This Is One of Those Songs That Like The Soundtrack of My Life.... Thanks for doing this 1...
Its amazing that 2Pac was 22/23 writing songs like this. He was wise for his age. Think of an artist today that's 23 that writes songs like this. I cant think of none to be honest. As always I enjoyed the lyrical breakdown/reaction.
Yessss thank you again 4 a great reaction. The OG song is the best but the hook of the remix gives me every time goosebumps (Children sing) Living life is but a dream Hard times is all we seen (on my block) Every block is kind to me But on the block we still pray But on the block we still pray
C'mon don't spoil the hook for him, let him be pleasently surprised because that is a part of the enjoyment of his reactions. The surprised look he gets on his face when he hears an amazing hook is priceless.
@@brainsqueezereactions the best remix they did in my opinion is the R U Still down from the r u still down album. So when you get round to that one then yes that’s the only one I would suggest doing the remix, plus in the remix you get an a extra pac verse!
Nice job, mate. You were on point with your analysis of these lyrics. The remix to My Block does contain all 4 verses and is a decent remix. The beat in this OG version is much smoother though. Love how you are hitting the whole catalog, that's the best way to fully appreciate his depth as an artist. When your in the mood to react to something hard, suggest you check out Bomb First. Can't wait to see what you think of the intro on the track, it's a classic and what follows is just venom.
Busta Rhymes said something very significant in his song "Street Shit". He mentioned towards the end of the song that urban city people are placed in that environment and the only way they can make it out is to sell drugs and commit crimes. It's not the right thing to do but it's survival of the fittest. That is why I have the upmost respect for those survived hardship like that
I want to say that in the 90s, there were 2 and 3 strikes laws that justified putting people in prison for life for nonviolent offenses. I was a kid but I do remember the 3 strikes being mentioned on the news here in the US.
Well harry potter your a genius bro! I love the why you explain because I'm learning something new every time. I think your doing an amazing job bro! Keep up the good work....

After he got big and got some money he sent her to rehab to save his mom.
