@ 19:02 he says "...doing triple life, though I tell him in his letters it's getting better, if my n**** knew the truth he'd hit the roof, just heard your baby's mama was smoked out..." He's writing to his little homie doing triple life and trying to keep his spirits up by telling him it's getting better but sparing him the pain of hearing the truth about his baby's mother who is now smoked out as in strung out on drugs. Love your reactions! Pac had so much respect from his fans because everything he spoke about could be related to on the most personal level. If you yourself hadn't been through it someone close to you had. He always managed to convey exactly what people were thinking and feeling; especially as a black person growing up and living in the hood. I'm not trying to stir up any racial uprising because Pac has fans of every race. I'm just simply saying that he spoke from the perspective of the majority of young black people and the things that some of us managed to live through.
One thing I like about your reactions is that you mishear alot of the lyrics and aren't scared to replay it over & over. it shows that you might be new to this music or maybe not used to american pronunciation so it's the most honest reaction.
Thats really nice to read thank you. I avoid pac music like the plague and only have a playlist of songs ive reacted too. Because I really want to feel each song like a new single and its so exciting to do it this way!
This song is set out like the age of the narrator. The first verse is hopeful, yet realises he is in the bottom of society and is introduced to the life. The second verse is vengeful, asks for help but no one comes, no remorse, the life has changed him he doesn’t care about anything. The last verse shows an overview on f the whole situation, realises other people are facing the same feelings and emotions he is
Latasha Harlins was an African-American girl who was fatally shot at age 15 by Soon Ja Du, a 51-year-old Korean-American convenience store owner. Du was tried and convicted of voluntary manslaughter in Harlins' death, based in part on security camera footage. This is the Latasha 2pac mentions. He also mentions her in Thugz Mansion and Keep Ya Head Up was dedicated to her.
When you get around to it, check out Nipsey Hussle. He did nothing but mix tapes until his final production, which would be his last because he was killed 3 years ago. Tupac was his main inspiration, and was from the seeds Pac left on the Earth and took the whole community with him until it killed him. Start with his last LP and then go back and you'll see how he progressed. His interviews are up to par with Tupac's without the intensity, but filled with knowledge. Peace man!
Frank I was thinking of making this same comparison to be looked at ! R.I.P to them both and I pray Kendrick Lamar doesn’t have the same fate !! His lyrics also influenced by Pac and nipsey !!!

I'm not trying to stir up any racial uprising because Pac has fans of every race. I'm just simply saying that he spoke from the perspective of the majority of young black people and the things that some of us managed to live through.
I love your reactions and honesty you can only play pac songs and I will still be happy salute to you!
U got to hear this.
2pac if my enemies love their kids'
Dude is a gentleman even in times of war
2PAC the GOAT!!!!!!! Brain squeeze reactions #1. Hector you’re da man 👍
You’re the goat for letting the last verse play through because that’s the best verse.
“I tell him in his letters, it’s getting better”. 😊
Luv the passion you have for 2pac and then you actually take the time to react. You’re a G in my book!!!
It was about time, i was thinking of recommend this song, its a mind blowing song. Good reactions man welcome to the Makaveli world wide fans.
This song is set out like the age of the narrator. The first verse is hopeful, yet realises he is in the bottom of society and is introduced to the life. The second verse is vengeful, asks for help but no one comes, no remorse, the life has changed him he doesn’t care about anything. The last verse shows an overview on f the whole situation, realises other people are facing the same feelings and emotions he is
you already prepared this is real life America
Another Great Reaction, one my favs of all time.
Love your reactions.
Even though this is a posthumous release it is 95% his og material.he was gonna put out this song as his 3rd album but decided to go with the "Me against the world" tracks. .R U still down. Is a bad ass album🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Although I tell him in his letters it's getting better, if my nigga knew the truth he'd hit the roof" 🙏
