My take on the stereotypes (as an Englishman from the SW), though I can't be 100% accurate:
-Bedfordshire: Suburban county in East England. Fairly posh and quite old.
-Berkshire: Suburban county in SE England. Affluent and mostly quite conservative. Has Windsor castle.
-Bristol: Historic Port City with links to the British Empire's trade (including the slave trade). Now a very young, studenty and Left-wing city.
-Buckinghamshire: Another Suburban county in SE England. Quite posh and socially conservative.
-Cambridgeshire: Cambridge University; lots of students and affluent graduates who remain in the area. Still quite Rural and Agricultural however.
-Cheshire: The most affluent county in the North, with a lot of affluent, but quite liberal people. Also Chester Racecourse.
-Cornwall: VERY Rural, Celtic-influenced coastal county and VERY Reliant on Agriculture and Maritime industries (I.e Fishing). Lots of coastal tourism. Surprisingly deprived county nevertheless.
-Cumbria: Large rural, very hilly county in NW England, bordering Scotland. Somewhat affluent, with deprived pockets. Also apparently the most Christian county in the UK, with it's famous Cumberland Sausages! Lots of hiking tourism.
-Derbyshire: Mostly Rural, hilly county in the East Midlands. Lots of Sheep Farming, as well as tourism from Hikers. Rural areas quite affluent, but rural areas (such as Derby and Chesterfield) quite post-industria and deprived).
-Devon: Large, rural and relatively hilly county in SW England. Quite an economically diverse county: Many farmer and Fisherman-types (demonstrated by the woman), but also many affluent workers in Exeter and Plymouth, as well as 2nd Home owners, demonstrated by the man. Lots of tourism for its coastlines.
-Dorset: Rural county in SW England, with a large agricultural and maritime industry. Quite an Elderly area.
-Durham: County in NE England with a strong history of Mining and the home of Rowan Atkinson. Also a very well renowned University city in the City of Durham.
-Essex: Suburban County in the East of England. It's people stereotyped as being VERY Materialistic and shallow. The "Essex Girl" Stereotype originates here.
-Gloucestershire: Rural County in SW England. Strong Agricultural industry, but also a lot of young commuters to Bristol, as well as residents of this type in Cheltenham and Gloucester.
-Greater London: Extremely diverse; rich, poor, lots of ethnic minorities and mostly quite young (but I don't think this needs much explaining)
-Greater Manchester: Big Urban area in the NW. Working class, quite Left-wing and Football is basically king.
-Hampshire: Posh county in SE England. Mostly Conservative, with some young Liberal/Left wing professionals and areas.
-Herefordshire: VERY Rural county in the West Midlands. Lots of Cattle farmers. That's about it lol.
-Hertfordshire: Suburban County in Eastern England. Mix of Rich, if fairly liberal commuters to London, and Old Conservative people.
-Isle of Wight: Island off Hampshire coast. Has a big Music festival, which attracts some hippy-ish types. A bit of an exaggeration though.
-Kent: Fairly posh, somewhat suburban county in SE England. Quite conservative and a bit snobbish, but with some younger/ less affluent communities (I.e Canterbury and the Medway area).
-Lancashire: Very post-industrial, quite deprived county in NW England, with a lot of unemployed people in places. Lots of old Cotton Mill-towns. Working class and quite Left-leaning. Known for it's brewing industries.
-Leicestershire: A very multicultural county in the East Midlands, especially in it's capital, Leicester. Big Asian community (as demonstrated on the Left). Lots of delicious Curry! Surprisingly agricultural and middle-class in it's rural areas though, with a lot of Cheese and Pie-making! (demonstrated by the woman on the right).
-Lincolnshire: Very large rural, flat and Agricultural county in the East Midlands. Lots of Wheat-fields and Vegetable farming. Also the home-county of the Evil Margaret Thatcher (make of my opinion what you will...)
Merseyside: Liverpool, NW England. Big port city and the home of the Beatles and Liverpool FC (who I support!) VERY Left-wing, but also very deprived in places.
-Norfolk: Another very flat, rural county in East Anglia, with lots of Agriculture (Grain, Vegetable and livestock). Quite middle-class and a little snooty/Conservative, but fairly Left-wing in Norwich.
-Northamptonshire: Somewhat post-industrial area in the East Midlands, with affluent patches. Once made Shoes in it's county town, Northampton. Mix of younger hipster-ish commuters to London, Birmingham and the E. Midlands cities, and Middle-aged Conservative-types.
-Northumberland: Borders Scotland in NE England. Strong Celtic and Scandinavian influences. Historic rural area, but somewhat deprived.
-Nottinghamshire: East Midlands: Home of the legend of Robin Hood! Quite a post-industrial area, with a mix of Students/graduates, but also people with Socially conservative, but Economically Left-wing ideas. Economic History of Coal-Mining.
-Oxfordshire: Oxford University; Lots of students. Also many wealthy, if somewhat Liberal people.
-Rutland: Very small, rural county in the E. Midlands. Agricultural.
-Shropshire: Rural county in the West Midlands, bordering Wales. Area known as the Welsh-Marches. Agricultural areas, with Cattle and Sheep farming, but also some industrial history, as seen at the Ironbridge Gorge.
-Somerset: VERY Rural, Agricultural County in SW England, with a big industry of Cider making. Not particularly affluent, though some richer communities exist there (I.e Bath and Wells). Politically, it Swings between the Conservatives and Lib-Dems, with some swing Tory-Labour seats in it's North.
-Staffordshire: Mix of rural agricultural areas (such as Lichfield and Tamworth) and post-industrial areas (like Stoke-on-Trent and Burton-On-Trent in the W. Midlands. Some former mining areas. Lots of Flat-cap wearers! Big Brewing industry.
-Suffolk: Rural, Agricultural County in E. Anglia, (vegetable and pig farming being an old industry) as well and some Maritime/Port industries, based around Felixstowe, Lowestoft and Ipswich. Fairly old and middle-class.
-Surrey: Rich, Suburban county in SE England. Mix of Middle-aged Wealthy Tories, and younger, more liberal London commuters, as well as students in Guildford.
Sussex: He got them the wrong way round, so I'll correct it:
-East Sussex: Very young, Left wing area, especially in Brighton, which has a Big Gay community. The rural areas I.e Lewes, Hastings etc. are somewhat Liberal too.
-West Sussex: Very affluent, Old and fairly-rural county, with lots of retirees. A socially conservative, and rather snooty area.
-Tyne and Wear: Working-class, industrial and left-leaning urban county in NE England, which includes Newcastle and Sunderland. Locals known as Geordies and Mackems. Quite young and studentey, but also deprived areas. Also home of the bakery chain Greggs, as well as Entertainers Ant and Dec.
-Warwickshire: Rural, agricultural county in the W. Midlands. Stratford-Upon-Avon the home town of Shakespeare. Quite Conservative and apparently fairly Christian area.
-West Midlands: Big Urban area, including Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton. Very young, ethnically diverse area, with big Black and Muslim, as well as student communities. Still some deprived, white-working class communities in the area known as the "Black Country" however.
-Wiltshire: Rural, quite-affluent county in SW England. Stonehenge is located here. Quite an old, Conservative agricultural area with a lot of Military training areas on Salisbury plain. Purported sightings of UFOs. Some slightly-more Liberal/Left leaning areas around Swindon and Chippenham however (with the former having lots of Railway-industry history).
-Worcestershire: Fairly rural county in the W. Midlands, with big Agricultural, Cider-making and Food-processing industries. Mix of affluent and deprived.
    Yorkshire; Divided in 4 Counties:
-East: Very deprived, post-industrial area, based around Hull. Big port city.
-North: Rural, wealthy quite Conservative area, with the largest city in York. Some mining history around Middlesbrough.
-South: Very post-industrial, fairly deprived area, albeit with a big student population. Based around the city of Sheffield. Probably the largest former-coal mining area of England. Very Left-leaning area, Football being popular.
-West: Another post-industrial area, with many former Wool Textile-mill towns (such as Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax), with quite a few deprived areas. There is a younger, more affluent population based around it's largest city Leeds however. Also a very Left-leaning area.
That's all folks: Feel free to correct any errors I've made!

Not a major issue, but Sheffield (South Yorkshire) is more famous (locally, not sure about nationally) for its history/heritage in steel production than its coal mining industry before the 60s. Other than that, ur spot on! 😁

Bit of a generalisation of Hampshire. It’s a massive county so it’s more diverse than you think. I wouldn’t call Southampton or Portsmouth posh at all.

      @Phippsta 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

@@JJSFC Yeah, I know Hampshire isn't all posh- am well aware of the Maritime trade/cruise industry in Southampton and the Navy/Ferry port in Portsmouth. And I know that both these cities are quite working class. I was more reacting to what the stereotypes presented in the video of each county are trying to portray of the people living there. I can't think of what other stereotypes of Hampshire people would be though... Navy Seamen perhaps?

    • @Phippsta
      @Phippsta 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@JJSFC But I mean, equally, it would be ridiculous to say that all people on the Isle of Wight are hippies, everyone in Essex is a shallow, braindead materialist or that half the population of East Sussex are gay, as this video portrays! It's just silly stereotypes, as a bit of fun!

      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Devon needs more chavs and meth addicts, screw those Janners over the Tamar. Greater London needed a posh city worker wearing gilet jacket, plaid shirt and beige chinos. Other wise pretty accurate.
