You know guys we all love the loud mean exhaust pipes but when I learned about that sick old man who was looking for a minute of relief, I felt ashamed. Took the pipes out and just went on like a bee . . . Rj I love you man , just place the baffles down, people are hurt with the sounds . . .
Currently I drive a BMW r1100s from 2000', before I've driven a 650, 90degree V-twin. This engine is like a dream to me, I wish Honda would bring back the CX since I don't like chains. In fact, the engine I the only thing I would want this bike for, It's the only piece I like on this bike, I'm sorry... But as long as you're happy RJ :) It sounds great aswell.
How close does the key fob have to be in order for the bike to start. Say can you be in your home and someone comes up and starts the bike because of the proximity? Ive always been uneasy with the whole keyless thing.
Bennet Vella I though of that as well but still the idea that anyone can turn on my bike at any time is not all that pleasant. And it's not unusual that I am sitting close to my bike

Police don't carry DB meters here, even if they did there's so many factors to consider that short of taking the bike for an enclosed sound test with proper equipment, it'll not be good enough to use in court. So basically rule of thumb is so long as it's not antisocial, it's probably OK. At least in my experience

RJ, I'm getting a new bike soon (50cc Supermoto) do you think I should get goretex or leathers? (i do intend to spend around £1k on all my gear because I want it to last all the way up to getting a full license in 5 years and beyond)
RoyalJordanian I guess goretex makes more sense as I could use it all year round, so I guess I'll be looking at a goretex jacket, but I'm still gonna be looking at leather trousers regardless

The 390 is nice dude, a single cylinder with 43HP on a 150KG bike guarantees a lot of fun around town. And it looks great too.

What did you do with the exhaust servo motor and the subsequent warning lights it throws when you remove it?
How did you get the left mirror to fit with the cruise control?

No, it's a pre-silencer. Otherwise the sound would be too loud.
