@anthonylove821 Moss ,after the lawsuit he filed against Beckett was settled in 2018. Beckett performs with his version of PLAYER and (legally) Moss has since performed with his version of PLAYER. Beckett trying to take their joint ownership of the PLAYER trademark for himself is the reason why they no longer play together. It wasn't what Moss wanted but Beckett also nudged Moss out of the band in 2017 by keeping the substitute bass player and deliberately not telling Moss about the upcoming gigs in 2017 and it had fans thinking , even wilkepedia saying Moss had left the band. It was all lies . The lying about Moss quitting and the trademark issue was why Moss sued Beckett and took him to court. 5:51

There was jealousy on Becketts part toward Moss because yes, he was the original bass player/singer but also from 1987 to 2012 Moss was also known as RIDGE FORRESTER. I knew who Moss in fact , I knew every name of the original lineup before Bold and the Beautiful ever existed. Ronn being on TV shined a light on his background and lots of people didn't know he was (1) A member of Player (2) The song BABY COME BACK was their 1st record (3) The song was the first number one song 🎵 on Billboard for the first 3 weeks of January 1978. (4) They also had a second top ten hit THIS TIME IM IN FOR LOVE it's was sung by the co-writer of BABY COME BACK J.C Crowley. Crowley left the band after the 2nd album Danger Zone years later he went back to country music 🎶 and he had a song on the soundtrack of Clint Eastwoods 1989 movie PINK CADILLAC. Those videos are on TH-cam. The drummer was John Frieson. Freison and Moss were friends in high school. Moss left the band originally in 1981 after the 3rd album ROOM WITH VIEW to pursue acting because PLAYER was fading in public . No hits, no tours. They made a 4th album without Moss called SPIES OF LIFE (1982) and that album bombed. So in 1995 -96 Moss and Beckett revived PLAYER and a new album called LOST IN REALITY and in 2013 an EP called TOO MANY REASONS. I was a big fan of Becketts till he tried to screw Moss. Moss was very loyal to Beckett but Becketts, jealousy, ego and greed simply destroyed friendship and unity. Beckett is a great lead singer but no so great a human being by that lawsuit incident.
