M/S Alpo journey to Normandy, interview with Martti Haapala

Historical M/S Alpo sailed from Oulu, Finland to Normandy. The convoy led by M/S Alpo included a charitable component. During the journey, we aimed to raise funds for the defense of Ukraine, specifically for the air force situational awareness systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We called it 'from the sea to the sky.'

Kyllä tämä oli niin kunnioitusta ja huomiota herättävä teko, että kättä lippaan! Voisi Oulun kaupunkikin osallistua kustannuksiin, jos ymmärtää, kuinka huomattavan paljon tästä tuli peeärrää kaupungille kansainvälisestikin! Ja tulee vielä jatkossa !
