Thank you for the demonstration Lisa! I think if you added some vegetables at the bottom you really do have a complete meal. And girl, I feel you, it’s hard to get these videos done. I appreciate you❤️❤️
Hello Lisa. I purchased my Ninja and used it for two days now. Everything came out perfect. Today I am going to try a apple cake on steam bake. Please can you make some videos about desserts like rice pudding. I don't know if this is possible. Thank you for your videos. You have a fan from Belgium 🇧🇪
Another great video! Fortunately, my son purchased the 6.5 qt Steam Fryer w/Smartlid for me, and I’m SSOOO excited to try some of these recipes! Although, I’ll probably use your jasmine rice video and make the rice separately (set it and forget it)! Can’t wait for more of your videos w/this appliance!
I made this and the chicken was a bit overdone and the rice was soup. I was able to salvage it but it bothered me. I went back and saw that Jasmine is long grain and the recipe called for medium, like Basmati. (And my Jasmine called for 1 cup water with 2 cups rice). I will try again with medium grain rice and thicker breasts. I also used parchment instead of foil since I don’t like the aluminum leaching into the food. I left out the veg because I have one kid that likes it all separate… I’d love to see more multi meals, thanks for filming! Oh and mine was in the box for a year, oops.
What I have noticed the foil is a good thing - prevents the rice from becoming crispy. I’ve been adjusting my liquid amounts with better results with rice and pasta.
My Darling i Love you but your dangerous cause everytime i watch you i have to have another nija i got them all I bought two wire racks and put them aginst my window in my dinning room put all my nija and other stuff i bought on them my daughters came over and my daughter said o sisters lets go shopping.ha ha ha . sorry it dint' work out for you . glad you got it out of the box and started using it!
when i have done rice in a pan, i normally add a pinch of salt and a bit of oil, is this not required?
do what you normally do-add salt and oil.
I made this but I used a small package of frozen stir-fry veggies on top of the rice. It was awesome!!
Actually, I've also done it with jumbo shrimp in place of the chicken!!
Great idea! I will try that next time. thanks Linda
hmmm....shrimp-were they over cooked?
You are awesome!!!
Thx!☺️
Hi Lisa, love your real vids. What is that strainer you use for your rice?
This one is my friends in Florida the one I have up in NY is a Winco here is a link amzn.to/3gc9Xb5
Thanks Amanda!
Nice
Thanks!
Doesn’t the foil inhibit the air from circulating?
What I have noticed the foil is a good thing - prevents the rice from becoming crispy. I’ve been adjusting my liquid amounts with better results with rice and pasta.
@@pressurecrispcould you use a Pyrex or metal dish instead of the foil?
Did you seal or vent at the top?
You vent for all options except pressure cooking.
"This definitely would feed 4 people." Yeah right lol
hehehe.... thanks !
