Ok so, you went on the 767 from SJC to Maui, then you took the 717 from Maui to Kona, then you did all of that again but in reverse, and then took the SJC to LAX with Southwest? Is that it?
You'll be happy to know that Hawaiian has started to phase most of them out. The only two destinations now to have them are SJC and SMF. PHX will be going to A330 any day now. All should be phased out by end of January '19
Nice trip report. The cabin had shown its ages.
Just did almost the same flight today, except OGG- OAK. Also an HA 767/300ER . Even left from the same gate, 23. I enjoy Hawaiian
Glad I wasn’t on the flight, I’ve had nightmares about seat changes before!
Why do you like to switch seats from window to aisle and back to window?
What was the purpose for the seating rearrangement?
It happened because the aircraft switched and the seats were slightly different so they tossed everyone's assigned seats and resat everyone

SJC-LAX was a different trip

No offense dude but man...most of your comments about this flight were negative in every aspect. Try flying Spirit or Allegiant then you csn complain.
They don't charge even half as much.
