  • Making an Oatmeal, Milk and Honey Soap with my newest slab mold stencil in a honeycomb pattern.
    I tried a different method for layering my soap batter and absolutely love the way that it turned out! Each bar is uniquely beautiful.

    The soap is beautiful and the teqhnique was interesting! I wish I could smell it lol!
    I had an idea watching this! Inspired by early 2000's nail art lol. Maybe a stripy or zebra pattern design on the plastic card could achieve that?

    • @CreamyObsession
      @CreamyObsession  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, you can't determine which oil ends up in the superfat of cold process soap.

      @@firdowskruger9896 I added it to my oils in the beginning with the rest of the additives like I usually do. I realized that I somehow cut that part out, probably because it looked like the extracts.

    Doesn't the silicone mold get damaged with such heat in the oven?

    • @CreamyObsession
      @CreamyObsession  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it's the lowest setting (170 degrees Fahrenheit or the warm setting). Silicone can usually withstand heat up to 450 degrees 😊.

    Doesnt the yogurt turn bad? How does it work?

  • @nowexit
    @nowexit 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lovely design but just to let you know that Vitamin E loses a hydrogen atom via the process of saponification making it oxidise rapidly, by the time saponification has finished Vitamin E is no longer present in the finished product. The only way to add Vit E to cold/hot process soap is by milling.
