I do have a soap question, I see that you use Lard as an ingredient. Some lards contain either BHT or THBQ as a preservative. Could you check your lard for me and see if it is? Is hate to buy something that I'm allergic to!
That cactus scraper!! Omg. I make this fun game of trying to figure out how you make these soaps when I see them as a thumbnail. But my mind can't handle it 😂 Had this realization that your scrapers must be really hard for it to withstand scraping small details like the cactus. I always thought the scraper was flimsier and more bendable. Bravo bravo on another masterpiece. I wonder if you could also make a pop-artsy portrait with soap, that would be so cool.

Creamy Obsession you're one of the best soapmakers I've seen on youtube. Pop art is probably the way to go with many colors since I bet it's hard to make a realistic face in soap design 😅

Thank you for showing the cut, I don't know if you remember me but I mentioned that I'd like to see the cut on another video of yours. I know you say that the bars are very similar, but it always makes me think that the person just picked the best one to show us and the others weren't very good if you just get a picture at the end. So it was lovely to see and even though they are similar you get a chance to go 'wow' at each one. I hope you continue to show it, the speed you played the cut through was just perfect. They are fantastic

@@CreamyObsession I don't know if you've taught yourself or went to school for this but I'm amazed, never seen such time and energy put into something so pretty....I make soap but that looks like a lot of waiting and using the cardboard strips to pull the soap to get it like that...Mine just come out one color or two colors...Which i did sign up for the Soap Guild so hopefully, I'll learn something....very nice and your work is def. beautiful...
The level of patience is incredible, such beautiful soaps! You have such a great technique, I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into a soap like this since I noticed you're using more than one batch. Really great job
Thank you so much! I was making several batches off camera, and they accounted for most of the batter. As for the scraped out leftovers, I put them into small molds or sometimes I pipe flowers for future soaps with them while I wait on the next layer. None goes to waste, ever!

Thank you so much! No, DOS aren't caused by the thickness of your trace whatsoever. Rather, they're caused by your recipe. Certain oils like sunflower that go rancid quickly and a high percentage of super fat will do that to your soap.

Do they all come in different lengths or do you have to just eyeball how hard you press down on them?
How long did it take you to design that soap? I can only imagine how much trial and error went into it. It's such a beautiful, clean design. I lived most of my teen years in New Mexico, and it reminds me of the summer sunsets I'd see on the porch with my mom.

Creamy Obsession I do the same with my scrapings or leftovers, I always keep an individual cavity mold on the table, just in case.
