    These are gorgeous. Such a good idea to use the milk cartons, I've been working on making a square column mold forEVER, and this is a much simpler and cleaner method than I was attempting. Nicely done.

    Your soap is beautiful and you did it all so efficiently and calmly. I particularly love that you used natural colours.
    So many soapers are making soaps with bright synthetic colors and calling them 'natural'

    The legos keeping your cartons upright was a relly good idea. Poor legos on the bottom. The heat got to them. The soap looked really great.

    Wow❣️You Made me smile. The magic moment was when your screen appeared at the top. Then ‘the Cut’. My favourite part. Oh no!🤦‍♀️ Speeded up. Might as well abandon ship here 😒😳 I wonder why everyone is catering to the ‘attention deficit’ amongst us, when they could quite simply push ‘accelerate speed’?// Just curious... have you ever watched one of your speeded up videos? I love your work, & your son’s wondrous creation to help you solve a dilemma 😊. Methinks you may well have inspired a future inventor/problem solver 😊

      First of all, thanks for watching and commenting! Unfortunately uploading videos that are hours long (because yes, this would have been over an hour without editing), takes a LONG time. I don't have hours to give to watching full videos, nor do many people. You can always watch it in slow motion if there was a part you wanted to slow down :)

    Did you find that a difference in the crate of pull made any difference in the clarity of the design? Your soaps are fantastic by the way. Thank you for this video and this technic.

    One day I’m going to do this. It looks amazing. All my indigo I ever used is green never blue. Where do you get yours btw? I actually use pure indigo and pure henna for my hair and I tried to use it as a blue color in soap but nope. Thank you

    • @SNIFNaturalSoapmaking
      @SNIFNaturalSoapmaking  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have used the greenish one and was so disappointed in my soap color, but now I use the indigo from wholesalesuppliesplus.com

    • @TracyD2
      @TracyD2 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SNIF Natural Soapmaking Thank you yes very disappointing. I used the star mold and made the star a lotion embed out of butters and beeswax and I wanted a blue background but noooo the sky was sickly green like pollution The lotion embed was a success though. 😂 Thank you I need to place an order.

    • @makeit2649
      @makeit2649 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TracyD2 you are using "unprocessed" indigo on hair. For soap-making, you need "processed" indigo that is purchased from soap suppliers. That will give you the blue color you are seeking.

    Восхитительно ! Замечательно ! А цвет индиго проявляется позже, когда мыло созреет ?

    • @Purplemountainsoaps
      @Purplemountainsoaps 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Translated in to English from Russian: “Replies Galina Mkrtichyan 6 days ago Amazing! Great ! And the color of indigo appears later, when the soap ripens?”

      @SNIFNaturalSoapmaking  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Purplemountainsoaps Thanks for the translation! Yes, the indigo is now a gray/blue. Not nearly as blue as in the photo.

    How do you use that soap calc website?
    I'm an amateur shaper. Having only worked with melt and pour thus far. Looked at soap calc, it's like reading a technical manual written by a dyslexic Japanese alcoholic horror author.

    If you're not in the U.S.A., and are using metric, a quart is slightly less than a litre...

  • @lorraineforte9175
    @lorraineforte9175 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm assuming you don't need freezer paper or anything to line your cartons that you used? And what was your pattern made out of? Did you use a plastic disk or metal? The soap is beautiful.

    • @nutritiousskinsnifnaturals1266
      @nutritiousskinsnifnaturals1266 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You assume correctly, no need for freezer paper because if you noticed, I just peeled the carton off. The disc was acrylic

    Do you need to insulate it? Sorry for all the questions, I really want to try tbis,but I'm afraid of messing up.

    • @nutritiousskinsnifnaturals1266
      @nutritiousskinsnifnaturals1266 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did insulate with towel, but it didn't get warm enough so I warmed in oven at 160 degrees F for about 5 minutes.

    • @cheryl739
      @cheryl739 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it depends on the soaper. I never cover or deliberately heat the soap. Always great colors. Just let it do its own thing. I live at almost 8000 ft. Do not know if that is why my colors are nice.
