- Recently, I was having fun in Valencia and happened to teach a lindy hop class featuring fun moves for the social floor. We covered a Frankie Manning classic, the Dawn Hampton stare, jig kicks, rhythms, random big kicks and more! Check it out!

You guys are awesome! Well done. There are some really cool moves here :D
Sweet mini-dip variation!
"position of high tension" makes me chuckle...that stare does cause it...:)
sweet! they're fun
Thanks!
thanks!
I like that "random big kicks" is a thing now. Because that's kind of my thing.
haha! thank you
you are an excellent teacher
Thanks!
Do you know of a video with that teaches that Twist from 4:00? I dig the Jigs you were doing, but I find that my rhythm gets screwed up from it. Really appreciated the swingout tips.
I don't actually. I just made myself a note to film a tutorial on it. Glad you like the swingout tips. Anything I can help with for the jig kicks? The folks at Groove Juice Swing had a month long series on Jigs they posted on their channel.
I was expecting an interesting Lindy Hop move called "The Applebees". On the 3--you do a New York Freeze to L (lady R), hold 4, and then finish with a tuck turn spin and back to open facing on 5 6 7 and 8. But sadly I did not see it.
What led you to expect Applebee's? Your dance community has some interesting names
@@swingindenver Learned that from dancer/teacher Chris Martin in the mid-2000s decade.
@@charlessmith263 thanks for sharing

Not bad. Room for improvement, but not too bad.
There's always room for growth. Same with any instructor worth their salt
