I received an Ipad Air for Christmas from my husband and grabbed procreate and started looking at tutorials. I was a big time graphic artist back in the day when Paint Shop Pro was around before it was Coral paint. But... I'm rusty... I knew as a new user I needed to find how the program works not just play with the program, as it can be overwhelming. These tutorials you've provided are right up my ally! I love realism , fantasy and characters. Following along with these have been AMAZING! Thank you so very much , you have truly helped me navigate my way around this program in just a few day's ! I've completed 8 so far from you! You are a great teacher!

This is one of the most realistic paintings that I have seen on your channel. Great! Happy New Year!

Well I attempted (key word here😂)
I have issues with making flat objects so my ice looks like mounds of snow. I am now going with snow covered ice on the sides and the ice is melted in the middle where the sun is shining. Not what the end result was suppose to be, but to me, I think it ended up working out.

This was only my 3rd time following one of your tutorials. I just got an ipad for Xmas and immediately bought Procreate. I struggled with this tutorial, but still learned a lot. Certainly one I will attempt a 2nd time after I learn a bit more. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Gratitude for another fantastic tutorial James. Ideal day to do it when we have a good covering of snow in Yorkshire. Such a realistic effect and as always discovered some more techniques. Namaste 🙏

Thank you so much for sharing this Tutorial ❤ I never could have imagine to create such a scene by my own! For me as an absolute beginner it was so helpful to learn more about Procreate and learn more about drawing in general. I absolutely will be watching more Videos of yours!

Truly magnificent, I always come by to learn making some complex seeming landscape features, but I got the idea that you could make an firework artwork that’d be super interesting to see how you’d approach drawing fireworks

Could you make a new version of a northern lights landscape drawing with pink-ish light? It would be interesting to see how you do that.

I def need your help, @29:04 I can copy and paste the image, flip upside down, however when I go to clear the image, it deletes the entire thing. It will not just delete the part selected.

When I paste the inverse and Clear the rectangle layer, the entire upside down version vanishes. I don’t get both upside and downside displayed. Backed up the video and watched 5 times. Not missing anything obvious. Maybe an option? Only my second video so I’m still a neophyte. Thank you in advance for any idea what I am doing wrong. 🍻

I'm still getting used to Procreate (vs physical paints), and am having trouble tapering the branches as they get smaller and lighter. Is it just a question of more/less pressure and practice? Love your tutorials - thanks so much! Jan

If you over blur towards the beginning and find out at the end of the drawing you over blurred is there a history that you can go back to undo just that blur in a layer?
