James, you are ever so humble. You're never boring, or repetitive. Always marvel at your patience doing this again, again with such a gentle encouraging voice. Please dob't
Just followed along for the first time, loved the cozyness of this painting. But damm that snow at the front is HARD! it doesn't at all look like yours (now that i mind), but i still love my result. It was so much fun to follow along! Awesome tutorial!
Thank You for such calm and gentle art drawing. As usually, it was a pleasant to draw so warm and cozy picture and take the lesson of drawing with you. I was needed for just such a fairy-tale drawing.
This is a really nice imagine; I already know drawing the house and giving the shape to the snow will take me a whole week 😄 Keep them coming these cozy winter images James, thanks for all your work!
i love your tutorials and have created some amazing work thanks to you! would it be possible to do a tutorial focused on how to draw laid snow and the texture on it. i feel that I have struggled with that a few times and this would help lots! thank you :)
Loved the tutorial and how you simplified the components for us to follow along. I have a snow themed picture that I want to do for a Xmas present and have been procrastinating since I've never done snow before so this gives me a lot more confidence in the techniques to use. Thank you and wishing you happy holidays! edit: also don't apologize for your narration. I find it really calming and easy to follow
I like to finish each layer that will be the background at least to a rudimentary stage. That way, if the drawing takes over and tells me to go a different way, the background layers are complete. Sometimes that means covering things I worked on. Them’s the breaks. 😊 At least in digital format if I maintain separate layers, I can use that background layer to do another drawing that would let me show off something I covered up in the first drawing. As always, James, thanks for your time and wisdom. ❤
Your content truly impresses me. I have so much fun watching it that I can’t even describe it. Thank you for creating and sharing such videos with us. I’m trying to do something in my own way too, but I’m not as professional as you are. I hope I can improve my channel and create better content like yours.
I've been using Procreate since 2018 but never felt like I was getting the full use out of it. I knew it had lots of possibilities with its brushes and blend modes but I feel like I get stuck doing one thing or using the same brushes over and over. I'm trying to branch out and learn more and this tutorial worked so well for me! I didn't know about some of these brushes (like the luminesce ones). You explain things well and I love the little bits of soundtrack added while you're working. The music and your voice are very soothing and make it fun to draw along.
Lovely. Thank you for this. I often incorporate your art within my music TH-cam videos. I do credit you as my mentor.❤. It is Christmas and this is perfect.
See I wish I could do drawings like this without having to basically copy another’s work. Do you have any tips on getting better at being more creative with your artwork and learning how to draw new things?
Can you make one that focuses more on a house detail ? Maybe a cottage or those older houses covered with white cement , but have it be bigger so it’s like the main thing ? The point of this request is that I just want to improve on my house art and building
@JamesJulier-Artist thanks for replying! love your art, im about to get an ipad pro m4 256gb, super excited to follow your tutorials while drawing on it!
I really like following your videos. But I have an issue. When you set the pencil size, mine are always a lot bigger, and dont look like yours. I am guessing its an settingissue. Do you have an idea what setting it could be? Thanks! :)
Thank you so much for this great tutorial! Beautiful drawing! I am sorty to say this but that tree on the far left is very distracting. I've watched 45 minutes of this tutorial, maybe you'll fix it at the end. Apart from that, great thank you!
I get annoyed at these sometimes because you’ll say put your brush size on a certain number but when I do the size of my strokes are like at least 2 sizes bigger. I always do 1 or 2 sizes lower than you do. Maybe it’s the pressure idk
Hi, I'm sorry I didn't sign up for your course, seeing as you had also paid the amount in instalments. I responded by asking if Italian subtitles were present in the videos of your courses like in the TH-cam videos. I don't understand English very well and without those I would have a very hard time following. Unfortunately I didn't receive a response to that email and I didn't feel like it.

This is by far one of my favorite landscapes. I added skis sticking straight up into the snow pile on the right side of the cabin
Thank you so much
I love skiing

Me gotta save up some cash to buy an ipad. And if I wanted to learn more about art through procreate, James's channel is my go-to resource ❤
Thank you so much

Do you use a iPad paper foil ?
That has to be one of my favorites, I can't wait to take a try at this. Thanks James and Happy holidays to you!
Same to you! Thank you 🙏

hey james, can you please tell me which storage version of the ipad pro m4 you use?

@JamesJulier-Artist thanks for replying! love your art, im about to get an ipad pro m4 256gb, super excited to follow your tutorials while drawing on it!
Would I be able to follow this tutorial while using traditional methods?
Can you also teach me how to create illustrations of cities and towns?

Might be worth checking the dynamic brush scaling within preferences
@ thanks, thats what I was kinda guessing. Do you have it enabled or not?

Very great tutorial. Result wasn't quite as refined as yours, but pleased nonetheless. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Can you please do fantasy? Similar to Devin Elle Kurtz. I would love those tutorials
Nice suggestion

@@ngtoxicelite it could be pressure, also check the dynamic brush scaling within preferences it might be toggled to the wrong way
