Great interview and a topic relative to my interests. I own just about all those characters except Hela. I wonder who would be a good swap in to take her place.
Unfortunately, Hela is pretty key in the roster as she solves a bunch of issues the list has. She gives you a safe extract with Eyes on the Prize, a mystic ranged attacker and a great pay to flip specialist in addition to the grunts/souls synergy. There's not really anyone else who offers all this.
Great video! I really enjoy your interview videos! I wanted to ask about cruel tutelage timing as it doesn't specify on the card. Does the stagger and activation ending effect trigger on step 10 when you know if you if there are failures in the roll, step 13 after the damage is resolved, or after the attack has been completely resolved? It sounded from your interview that it would be after everything but I didn't get that from the card text and didn't see it on the forums so I wanted to check.
So I’m not 100% sure of your question but here is an answer to what I think you are asking. Ulik does the activation token “after the attack is resolved” so if you daze them they don’t get the activation token. I like stagger is only if you don’t hit the activation trigger. If your question is about when you get the cruel tutelage stagger it says on the card (at the end of its *the character playing the card’s* activation)
@@VincentCurkov oh my goodness I apologize I totally misread the card. I thought it said they gain a stagger and their activation ends not at the end of their activation. Thank you very much for clarifying!!
I think honestly that I have gotten staggered from Cruel Tutelage once or twice out of about ten times playing it :D Also sometimes those staggers really don't matter a 1 health remaining character dazing or removing from the table is huge, sure sometimes you get a 12 dice A2 off and it hits 2+ models, half the time I use it on full builders to generate power to do placements or some neat combo :D [Edit]: Also lets be honest Kilmongers health is largely irrelevant he dies if people shout in his direction.
Love to see Simon getting some love. I've run the roster a number of times after seeing Simon at Everwinter in December, it's a ton of fun.
This sold me more on Elektra and Klaw!

@@vodkablitz3242 Well, good to know. Still seems like a fun list to play either way. Thanks for all the info and insight!

This is without a doubt the worst thing I have watched on TH-cam in a very long time.
Cause now I have to go buy Klaw
