I’ve had a Scania for a couple of months now and really like this but you have to learn how to use it and adapt your driving style ie don’t start trying to overtake when coming to the brow of a hill. You can’t drive in a hurry with this feature but if you just slow down a little and let the computer do it’s thing , its great.

be nice if you gave us the option to turn the eco roll off as we crest a hill. it's dangerous when the truck infront suddenly slows because of the stupid feature.
Just got an r450 exactly same problem , told boss dangerous. he said I need more training ?

Thats why i always hold accelration pedal down when going uphill...
Wow, impressive. Would really like to know how much this system saves compared to a carefully driver and a careless driver.
I suppose the next step is total automation with the driver still ultimately there to provide the responses a computer, Ai and sensors can never anticipate.
So far complete automation has been a failure, some companies more than others.
try over taking on hill, cuts speed, truck inside lane, under take, a bit dangerous that is, office staff haven't gt a glue, they would save fuel , if didn't have company cars
i’m the HGV driver in uk , with the technology now safe fuel :))) anyway is very lo money on Hgv driver , if you come to working with your diesel is the best four company , because now you are not the driver , look like you are under pressure all the time, very sad you ar not free to drive to stop drink a coffee and enjoy the driving ,
is this for all the scania model ??

Am un r520 și nu scade sub 38% am încercat toate modurile posibile este euro6 din 2014 știe cineva ce să îi fac .știu că o să zică mulți că piesa dintre volan și scaun ii de vină dar asta nu e o rezolvare dațimi cîteva idei mersi frumos.
Scania egy kínai gyerek etetőszék szintjén van :D Ez a rendszer csak arra jó hogy idegesítse a sofőrt és a többi közlekedő kollégát.
hegyre felérve gurítja, nem tartja a sebességet. Majd a tempomat miatt újra gyorsít 2x annyi üzemanyagot elhasználva a gyorsításhoz. :D szart sem ér.
Doesn’t work properly, kills all the power just at a point where you need it, just short of the brow of the hill..... Other drivers think you are a silly bugger !! When it’s all done by the Truck NOT the driver.
I really don't like all this computer stuff. How am I in control of the machine ?
Just because the systems help you, you’ll always be the one in control. Learn how to work around the systems if you don’t like them.
