Front end is looking amazing man! Really like what you've done with it. Also, my limited Hemi Commander came with a metal skid plate for the engine and gas tank. Interesting that yours only had a plastic one, but that asfir one looks awesome.
You probably have the "overland" edition with the two-tone seats. That's the only one that came with the metal skid plates. But yes, I'm super happy with the ASFIR plate and thanks for the compliments!
Looking great, this bumper chop looks so much cleaner than the last one. I am planning to do the same too because I have never liked how the bumper looks from the side view, how it comes to a point ( think torpedo).
I've had my eye on those Asfir skid plates for a while for my '09 WK, I'm glad to see that they fit so well! I'm interested in getting the front skid and transmission skid plate. My Grand Cherokee came with the off road package and did include a steel front skid plate, transfer case skid plate, and the steel gas tank skid. I like the look of the rock sliders, I've been looking at getting a set from HK off-road myself.

Cool man! But maybe go ahead and black plastidip the fenders too. Nice Sliders!!!! Funny, I blacked out all my chrome about 5 years ago (and my fenders with the silly fake rivets/bolts). I think it looks so much better.
Dude fkn sick, what better way to start the year than with a bunch of goodies on the rig!? It's a bummer that the sliders need to be tweaked but they do look badass and compliment all the work you did on both ends, which came out great by the way. The taillights look sharp and the skid plate is sick. I do recommend a matted license plate holder for the hatch with XDD stenciled on it, the plate alone looks kinda girly. Cool stuff man, good to have XDD back!

I have the same sliders on my commander and the fitment is exactly the same as yours and was told by steel armadillo that it’s not that big of a concern. Even after being on for over a year it still bothers me though so my idea is to weld in spacers to fill the gap between the slider and body.
My Brotha. Prior to me watching your videos on the commander , I’ve purchased Three of these suckers. Lol, yes three my man. Three commanders. Lol, I buy fix and sell cars as a hobby man, does that make sense? But anyway my wife and I have fallen in love with them so I’ve been fixing them daily. I just lifted one with your video tips but it’s rubbing on flares and fire wall. Any tips? I’m using the toyos AT 265/70R17s. I also have some issues with another one with The automatic 4wd system. Bushings look good, I’m barely changing the shaft because the joint looks dry and rubber is cracked but it keeps snapping and looks and sounds like it’s jumping the teeth in the gears. I’ve tried to just remove the shaft and make it rear wheel drive but looks like it stays in neutral. It doesn’t go anywhere. Got any tips man? Thanks bro. Awesome videos.

So had a question and don’t know if you’ve encountered this (yet) or have discussed it yet in any of your videos. The infamous sunroof water leak. Have you experienced this. I’ve tried clearing out the drain tubes, but still would happen whenever it would rain, typically leaving me with a lake (couple inches) of water on the floor.
I have rear bumper that got pushed in on the side piece. It will need some filler ( heat gun trick could not fix it ) This stuff might hide the work, and add to the looks.
Not my jeep , but i like the plastic piece on. Like the drivers side for sure , looks much cleaner and oem that way . But like i said , not my jeep.. also dude that cargo roof net in the back is awesome.. like where did ya get it . Or is it just a standard one you adopted ? And just another idea , in the front of the engine skid , ya might want to take it to a machine and have them “Dimple die” a cpl of holes in it to let more air hit and cool the oil pan.. your oil temp is gonna get pretty hot closed in like that . And with the 3.7 ,4.7 , 5.7 valve guide issues the very last thing you want is hot oil .. just a heads up buddy..

Yep, I have that problem. The fronts are easy to fix. The rears are impossible so I just park at an angle. 🤷🏻 Thanks for watching.

If you throw down some cardboard on the driveway/garage floor before installing new parts, the possibility of scratching them is much reduced.
