I damn near cried when I saw Rollo. What a tragic loss! RIP Rollo, miss you very much.
Its good to see Rollo and remember the man in all his glory. He will never grow old and remain young forever in our hearts.

All of these guys are experienced skippers, boat owners, and legends of the San Diego sportfishing fleet. Very cool stuff.

Just watched again. Soo cool seeing Rollo!! What a legend!! So tragic ! Miss him dearly we where friends for 20 plus years! We got our 100 ton tickets together! Very informative video. Everything in video is useful today, save advancements in tackle( braid , fluorocarbon etc....!)
This was what I remembered right before I left ca to Las Vegas then TX. I just moved back to CA after 20 years and am going full pull into offshore fishing. Everything I was to young and dumb to know how lucky I was back then.
I love this video so much. To think I only even knew of Captain Rollo after a dream I had last year, on which turned out to be on his anniversary, still blows my mind!! 💛

What a great west coast delivery of great knowledge for party boat Tuna Fishing….worth the time even for a guy who’s fished for 35 year….
Makes you wonder why we spend upwards of a grand on one reel and line outfit these days when these guys are killing tuna just as easy with Penn Senators. Great video.

Awesome tuna catch, I caught 2 baracuda in long beach marina just trolling the Boston whaler around lol I was shocked there back here, been years I seen them.
