Every Munna Bhai movie fans would easily agree to that. Arshad's character was a great support but the portrayal was just so much better than what Sanjay did to his character.
Character wasn't well written. Warsi himself brought all this styles of circuit.

Abhay Deol is awesome but he was not meant to be in this video. Abhay has been awesome and choosy in his roles from day 1, so it's not like in later part of his career he evolved. He was recognised n appreciated from day 1.

In my opinion bolywood is still same with some minor change with their traditional choice but due to the opening of webseries and digital medias..now these actors are rising.

You know an actor is good if he is able to portray both protagonist as well as villain role very well, definition of Tabu , irfan khan , Pankaj Tripathi and so many few underrated actors.
Agreed. IMO, Kay Kay Menon and Rajat Kapoor fall into the same category of actors. Their talent makes you bound to believe both good and evil equally.
Mostly comedy actors are better at dramatic roles.

Tabu is one of the most talented and underrated actresses.
She can do literally any role and win everyone's heart.
She is still very beautiful and carries a strong persona.

@@ridwan_z pls don't say "negative" roles 😂. There is nothing negative or positive about a role. There is good bad and the gray. And many times the bad and the gray characters are the most difficult to play cus they are layered and complex. That's why brilliant actors like her take up different roles so they can show their creativity and their range. There is nothing special about an actors who only want to be the hero or the good guy. That's not even acting. I still remember her performance in maqbool with the legend irfaan.
I think Imran hashmi was one of the actors who was wasted bcoz of how he was portrayed in his early projects

@@sigip1716 ram charan in rangasthalam was way tok over the top. He didn't deserve the award. Sethupati in 96 was good, but not better than Ayushmaan in andhadhun. Dont worry, sethupati will win it this time for super deluxe(unless he is defeated by mamoothy). Dhanush could've won instead of Vicky Kaushal from uri(vicky could've got a special mention for an amazing year that he had - raazi, sanju, uri). I haven't seen other films mentioned by you. I thought that the decison to award ayushman was correct. I liked his performance a lot and I thought that his acting changed with the change in charecter very well. It is not possible for the jury to satisfy everyone.
Regarding the reason for akshay's win, it was definitely personal connection with Priyadarshan, who was the head of the jury. Manoj Bajpayi could've easily won the award for his magnificent work in aligarh that year.

Kunal Khemu got it right actually. Every industry has now become just a business to run & we have to wade through so much to get to the ones who are actually passionate about what they are doing. The industry's authenticity has become so diluted in this day & age that so many talented, hardworking people are sidelined. Leave alone the lack of appreciation for their movies, it's more difficult to even get past the auditions & good scripts.
I truly appreciate you for the content you make and for the concerns you show towards the underrated actors/actresses because in a manner, I also thinks the same. Arshad Waarsi, Akshay Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Tabu, Kunal Khemu, Neena ji and all the others you mentioned as well as some who are left, these are some few people who make real cinema lovers happy. Tabu is Queen ❤️. She has always been my favorite from her movie in Tamil kandukonden kandukonden. Highly recommend watching it. This movie was women centric even back then.

People who saying that do not care about Bollywood and only watch Hollywood movies now, there are N number of talented actors in Bollywood and there are many movies in Bollywood which are not recognized because the same audience run to watch the same kind of script for Hollywood but when it get released by Bollywood they don't prefer, they prefer to watch movies like houseful, judwa2.
And before boycotting good Bollywood movies and actor one should think that these actors are paying crores of tax as well in India. No Bollywood movies No tax, no major development because we as a middle class people know know much tax we pay.
You are a sensible person,I have always said that Boycotting Bollywood is not the solution but supporting real talent is the best solution.
They are the same people who see movies like race 3 in theatres and tweet about people being disconnected with sensible cinema from their phones
While naming Ronit Roy’s films after Udaan, you forgot to mention “Boss”. I feel even that’s a really incredible performance too. A corrupt and brooding cop who everyone should feel scared of because he’ll take law into his own hands if anyone causes him problems. Ronit portrayed that perfectly. Now I can’t imagine anyone besides him in that role.

@@ishaan6426 That might be true but the same doesn't go for Ronit's acting. That was my point. Sometimes films do become bad, but actors act really well even in those movies. Another example would be Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh. A lot of people didn't like that movie but Shahid, IMO, gave the best performance of his life.
Boss was a commercial movie that too a flop.
Ronit's role in Ugly is far superior.

It’s just that I was impressed only by Ronit Roy in Boss and I know it’s not that good a movie but that actor does a brilliant job in any movie no matter how the story turns out to be. And this whole while, that’s all that I had been saying, that story doesn’t always affect the Actor.
