It’s funny how the audience is always ready to spread hate , dislike and cancel star kids but the same audience is not ready to support actual talent ... this is getting no where and honestly.. i have lost all hopes that we would ever be able to see a change .

To all those who are following and sharing the media circus around his death, did they go and watch his movie?
No. Because they wanted to watch SOTY 2 instead and many even complained about it later....but didn't give Sonchiriya a chance. It was an amazingly beautiful movie. The only drawback that I found with lal kaptaan was that half of the run time he's travelling from one place to another, and nothing is happening. The point is, if nothing is happening, it takes out of the emotional bubble that you want to invest in with the protagonist. Prime example: speed. Bus has to be above 50 or it explodes. So the bus has to be running continuously. Then comes the twist and turns which keep tye protagonist on his shoes consistently. Or another action film john wick. Both lal kaptaan and john wick are basically revenge saga. But john is constantly battling and keeps you as viewer intrigued through world building, set pieces. This is exactly where lal kaptaan faulters. It had a great surrounding world to built on, but it lets it go.

Laila Majnu is one of my fav and I am so glad to have watched it in theatre & cried my eyes out several times. I went to watch it alone as none of my friends were interested due to the new cast, however I am a sucker for love stories & was already a fan of the songs in it. I have suggested this movie to so many of my friends and everyone who has watched it later in Zee5 have regretted not watching it the first time I suggested in theatre.
Another movie that made its way to the top of my most fav movies is Shikara, I was all set to watch the movie in theatre owing to the amazing poetic songs it has, however the imdb rating fooled me and I cancelled my plan. Few months later it came on Amazon Prime and I watched it the same day without expectations (just for the songs), and I was spellbound with the chemistry of the debutants of the movie. I made sure to search the main leads of the movie on instagram and congratulate them on their terrific debut. My only regret is not having watched it in theatre, how bad publicity can affect a movie, clearly this movie is an example. Must Watch :)
