I agree fil beta raja man were all decent movies of that time. And the first instalment of mast and dhamaal were also good. After that I think it's all downhill .
I have personally experienced being directed by Sajid Khan. I was an extra in the movie HOUSEFULL 4 and this dude didn't even show-up for almost any of the scenes that were being shot. And when he did, he was so unprofessional- in shorts & slippers, got angry because at 5 PM there was no tent for his fat-behind to sit under, had the biggest packet of cigarettes I have every seen in my life. You could smell him standing 25-30 foot away, of cigarettes. All the scenes that didn't have Akshay Kumar or some other big actor in them were being directed by someone else (don't remember exactly who it was, all I can tell is he was a young chap).
She's a wonderful choreographer, With Experience more than the age of many who is criticising her, Main Hoon Na, And Oso are Most entertaining, masala movie i had ever seen.... She may not be great but is a good entertainer... But Ofcourse Tees maar Khan is the Worst...
You are right masti is a good movie , but unfortunately..the sequels are equally vulgar and bad.., but the other ones like beta dil, Mann ,ishq are really good.., have watched ishq and beta many times..

Jammy, just a few points here - Dil and Beta were blockbusters for their time. In fact Dil gave Aamir Khan's career a much needed shot in the arm. It also pushed him towards his now well known habit of doing only 1 movie at a time. Beta (or like many reviewers called it 'Beti') was also a massive hit and was feted for Madhuri Dixit's performance than anything else. To call them below average is unfair. In fact Raja and ishq were below average..... Just by 2 bits here.....still a fan....keep up the good work....
Yeah, I 100% agree with you. I do not think Indra Kumar should be on here. Beta was the top grossing film of 1992 and won many awards. Raja and Dil were also successful so I say this callout is poor.

I have to disagree with Indra Kumar. Yes his current films and the content is outdated, but he was one of the most commercially successful directors of the 90’s with Dil, Beta, and Raja which were blockbusters

I don’t quite agree with the list.. Some of the directors were creating content that worked best at that particular time. If we compare those movies with today’s standards then they indeed appear shabby. I understand it’s a tough task to shortdown a list and despite your best efforts many might disagree. Dil, Beta and Raja were huge musical and commercial hits in 90s. Infact Indra Kumar was considered a man with Midas touch who later lost the charm just like Abbas Mustan or Subhash Ghai lost in later half of their careers. Forgettable directors should include- Farah Khan Abbas Mustan ( both couldn't evolve with time) Ram Gopal Verma ( Crass !) Prabhudeva. Remo D Souza ( we admire their dancing but direction is not their piece of 🍰)
Please make a video on forgotten supporting actors who disappeared all of a sudden. Even their death never made a news. Also on the dance group who performed almost every movie during 90s.
I think even calling Sajid as a director is an insult to directors 😂 and you surprised me by saying that Mann was a bad movie. It had some awkward moments but it was not that bad a movie.
The thing to understand here is that these directors still get the tops actors to feature in their movies. It can be understood that they are friends with the entire fraternity but they have no shortage of top league actors in their movies.

Inderkumar made terrible movies but at least they were in sync with the times.. bad movies were made in mid 90s all around ..so he was just keeping pace. But what the troika of Ahmed, Prabhudeva and Remo have done/are doing is unpardonable .. My top 3 worst directors would be 1.Ahmed Khan 2.Sajid khan 3.Remo/Prabhudeva share the 3rd spot

Dil, Beta and Raja were huge musical and commercial hits in 90s. Infact Indra Kumar was considered a man with Midas touch who later lost the charm just like Abbas Mustan or Subhash Ghai lost in later half of their careers.
