I tried ChatGPT to write a set of instruction for Dynamo. It is a hit-and-miss but sometimes it gives you an idea that you can use to optimise your workflow.
Hey, not related tô this video actually, but I’d like to suggest a course on how to create light wood framing projects in Revit if possible, where I work we use SEMA (a German software, but it’s too difficult and has many bugs). We already use revit for electrical and hydraulic projects, so if we could start using revit for the structure it would be great
Hi Balkan. You can get far far more detailed steps from GPT if you tell it that you are a professional expert level revit user. Also the prompt should be a little specific, specifying the amount of detail you want in the steps etc. I had ChatGPT nearly create a line based LED strip for me this way. As always love the vids and thank you..
I am afraid of A.I. plugin will replace junior staffs. For instance, right now one project manager and five revit technician, but one project manger and one revit technician needed in the future
This is necessary. Our software has causes this and it is not normal. Do not just aim on being a tech in future - the software and market will make these roles more valuable and specialized but there will be less of them.
The problem then becomes… what do the next generation of architects do? Short answer: Most seniors will gate-keep, and most companies don’t care. Sad really, but that’s the world for you - Godless.
Tried ChatGPT to write some Dynamo scripts months ago. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The problem was the chat has info on everything including 2021 and I was using the dynamo of Revit 2023... Sometimes the chat is useless
It is matter of time. Imagine a plugin for ChatGPT plus (GPT4) that works with the Revit manual of your Revit version, among all the skills of the tool... I still prefer seeing videos; it is easier to follow.
Ai is easier to provided information which are straight forward and less parametric steps involved. Revit involved many twist steps that let to the result that is why chatgpt can provide adequate steps. Thank for this great video
You're courses on the site are great, my only issue is that it's all in metric, is there a way to switch between imperial and metric without having to set up a new template? Great videos overall!
Hi, you can always change the working units, but if you need the units for the family types to change, then using a different template is the best option. I'm going to be upgrading my courses and adding some new ones in the following period and including imperial units next to the metric ones is one of the plans for the upgrades!
I'm a ChatGPT virgin, please forgive my ignorance, but surely Google (leading to people like your good self) is a better resource for this type of thing?
Yes and no. Google is great for collecting resources which contain answers and letting the user exercise judgement in which may be best to look further into. ChatGPT determines the best of these from its training data and uses language processing to deliver a specific answer. In my opinion the way most people use chatGPT is not much better than google. It's in a serious hype cycle right now. One major flaw with chatGPT is it often refuses to say it doesnt know and will make up things.
@@musefan12345 i mean you yourself is looking for answers in the youtube comments instead of you going to google and asking it yourself. Thats pretty dumbass if I say so myself

quality vs quantity... it wasn´t bad at a compressor stripdown, and safety, so quantity gave quality... wear glasses, vent pressure... don´t become one-eyed-jake...
chatgpt will equally rate comments from me (untrained monkey) with qualified Balkan Architect. In engineering subjects, qualified training in niche model is needed.
ChatGPT told me Balkan Architect was the #1 revit instructor online
actually you are ranked 3rd today, last week you were ranked #1. Maybe this video pissed off the Ai lol

Nice one, Milos! Thanks for the practical overview!
How do you create views for different displines (structural, architectural, Electrical and plumbing) in Revit model file?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SHARES. VERY USEFUL!

I have been using chatgpt for learning Revit, it do be useful
Its time for a new video with the new AI Updates 😊
