Brilliant. A legend and a genuine honorable chap. It's an amazing film that shows how well spoken, well dressed people were back then, they were so respectful too. We have lost all those good traits so quickly. Very sad.
Priceless. A true gentleman, wonderful sportsman and a great ambassador. What really strikes me is the respectfulness shown by everyone present & the complete lack of sporting histrionics, which are sadly so much a part of life nowadays.
When Jimmy Greaves started his conversation with “Well basically ••••” it made me think of him chatting to Ian St John during Saint and Greavsie in latter years!!
Classic Matches, Thanks indeed for providing this fitting tribute programme to Bobby, a unique modest gentleman sportsman and one of our finest-ever players!
Bobby Moore is one of my favorite footballers. His captaincy of the English national team was well-earned and much deserved!! Requiescat in pace, Bobby!!
I have just watched this and enjoyed it. Bobby Moore came across as a down to earth guy unaffected by his fame and easy to like. He had a very beautiful wife as well. I have watched the England v Brazil game from 1970 in which he was excellent and significantly the only tackle he lost led to Brazil's winning goal. Bobby Moore remains the greatest ever English captain.
Thanks for uploading this. I was 8 when we won the cup. Remember the beer bottles in a crate in our house.even my old man gimme a sip out of his pewter tankard..4 years later cried my eyes out after the defeat in Mexico..great memories. Thanks Sir Bobby
I was 7yrs old when The boys of 66 won the world cup for England & like yourself good sir cried like a baby when we were knocked out by West Germany in the quarter finals in Mexico 4 years later!!!😊👍
@@Inglese001 he earned good money for the time. you could buy a detached house back then for 5,000 pounds. bobby earned double that in a year back then.
Did you watch any games over the last 18 months? The "European" Trophy was a 3rd rate competition comparable to the Watney Cup ..& Moyes only wanted to win it for himself...we only just won it....if you enjoy wasting time and money to watch us play 25-30% possession football good luck mate. MOYES OUT . @@wonjubhoy
Bobby Moore wasn't only a great player but a wonderful human being.
My hero when I was a child, and the reason that I still support West Ham at the age of 64. We still miss you, Bobby!

Importation 😢
My lifelong hero. Lucky to have been there in 1964, 1965 and 1966 to see some of his greatest moments...
Was you there in 75 lol.
My hero to. Am 66 years old and he was and still is my inspiration in being a good human being. R.I.P. sir🙏🏼❤️

Legend.
One of the best footballers i have ever seen
The greatest Captain England have ever had ..enough said
Sir Robert a Professional Football player and real Gentleman
I once carried his kitbag while getting his autograph (and Geoff's) GOAT center back
The warmest greeting from Dr. Alphonso.
Bobby was a truly great player. The only English player to be voted into the 20th century best all time eleven in 1998.
The Greatest 🏴
Legend
Sir Bobby Moore.
My dad always like Bobby Moore cause it was his footballing hero as well he likes Clyde Best though he liked West Ham United when he was growing up
Played good football. But bad at the back
Sir Robert and O Rei Pele wonderful friendship
Absolute Player and Gentleman, Disgusting Bobby was never knighted!!! Also disgusting the way West Ham England treated him
Yep, even top players, like Bobby, never earned much money in those days. As you alluded to, the FA or West Ham should have given him a job for life.

I adore west ham and Kenny x
Top bloke x
Legend.hero
very handsome man.
yeah, quite a few women thought the same thing back then and did more than just think it too.
Ootball dear not looks
Eamon Andrews at the beginning of this show mentions Bobby's name but only Robert Frederick Moore. He did not mention Chelsea.
A good man, taken too soon.
west Ham treated him badly like many clubs do
Class player, class person, class team West Ham ...boy not any more. MOYES OUT
He won a European trophy just a few months ago. Why sack Moyes?

A lot of people looked up to him as the perfect English gentleman didn’t he later leave Tina and the kids for an air hostess ?
Kenny Lynch of course.
This is your Life Bobby Moore in black and white after ITV colour went in strike
Interesting to see his good friend Jimmy Greaves was there and not Arry Rednapp who always gives it the big one about him being his good mate.
⚒🏴⚒
What a contrast to Rice
Only obe is lifetime disgrace!!!!
Tina was a hottie!
