Who gives a fuck if a note or key was missed. Sometimes being that into it can force a mistake but that is what rock is about! There is no mistake in art. You want the pretty pitch perfect versions, it's on record! They accomplished it. Live, anything goes. Especially after touring for years like they have been since they first started. Slips shouldn't even be acknowledged at this point in their career. They have proved themselves enough to be trusted with their craft.
I love their music, I think the fact they are mostly unrecognized and unsupported (by the mainstream music) is the main reason why they are so beautifull. A unique ecperience
the best part about concerts is that it's live and it shows that they're still human and humans make mistakes, but you get through that and see the amazing side of them. especially those solos!
Nice. I've only heard 'I'm with Her's version. And the singers can hit the notes! I guess it's this singer's style to flatten the notes? It doesn't send shivers up my spine.
Great song, good performance despite the occasional flat vocal. To see how this song should be arranged and performed, check out how I'm With Her covers it.
Sadly :/ I have a theory that Rostam is pretty much the brains behind VW. He knows how to bring everything together to make it sound as good as it does. Ezra's voice is just another one of his instruments. This is what it sounds like when an instrument tries to play itself.
freaking instrumental part in hannah hunt gives me the chills i love it so much omg
it hits different on the album
Same chills that hit on me!!!!
Two of my most favourite songs ever!!!

Mike McCormick super fun meme arrows dude,
Mike McCormick F calling it rock anyway. That's why I just call it music. If it's music, it's music.

My two favourite vampire weekend songs
Anyone one see his moves and hear his voice starting around 6:55...or so? Looked and sounded like he was channeling Elvis or something. Haha~awesome.
Filled with Elvis' spirit
Walcott if you can't find the mayor, then you must be the mayor, ruling Cape Cod tonight.

Hannah Hunt is the best song of MVOTC

Yeah and also Ezra was really pitchy in this recording. They're usually amazing performers so I feel like something must have been happening..
This is great, thanks for uploading! Were you able to record the rest of the stream by any chance?
ezra seems to be kinda frustrated abou singing off-tune, like, 'fuck come on man gather your shit and do it i know u can'
love them

I didn't know Mark Zuckerberg played bass.
Ibragim Asmandarov
this is the first time i heard ezra singing quite off-tune
Praying for the haters 🙏
+Michael Jimenez lol what how was i hating... isnt that a good thing if this is the first time in 7 years for me to hear him sing ~A BIT~ out of tune!
+RUBBERSOULED lmao I'm playin
Everyone like the singer is off key but im here like the keyboardist messed up on Hannah hunt
Nope, just this part
ezzy's vocals is a bit off... quite a lot in live shows

This is what it sounds like when an instrument tries to play itself.
Ezra writes the lyrics & comes up with most of his guitar parts. Him & Rostam feed off each other musically to make the songs.
I Think just this one
ezra your out of tune at the first phrase.
Sack the pianist!
