My wife and I blame red dye on the lunacy of the world. Reforge gaming made a good point today when he said if you told a pc guy he was gonna get an extra 1 tb of storage and a 45% increase in gpu for 250 bucks, they’d be excited about it. But for ps5, it’s somehow different
@@88meatwadwhine more. The ps5 pro is $250 more than the regular digital ps5. The 2 tb Xbox series X shows that 1 tb is $100 based on the 1 tb X being $500 and the 2 tb being $600. So it’s $150 in new tech. Whine more about it
@@truthserum1905 Whine? lol. I own a Legoin Go and Gaming pc. If I wanted a Ps5 or pro I'd buy one. You can't compare buying a $700-$1,000 console refresh to a $250 pc upgrade.
My question is why are you surprised that there's criticism on the internet for any topic. It's the Internet it's been this way forever if you don't want to hear negativity don't read opinions online😅
PCs are a hobby unto itself. Learning and getting familiar with PC assembly, benchmarking, fine-tuning overclocks and thermals, discussing new tech and standards, getting closer and closer to your dream build. It goes well beyond just having a device to game on.
You like consoles, ok thats great. But that has nothing to do with console companies abusing their clients. The PS5 Pro is not worth it, +45% of price for slightly better details is not worth the increased price
I think its pretty simple. People saw the side by side of the ps5 and ps5 pro and decided that the minor graphical improvements arent worth the extra cost. Even if the ps5 pro has 28% better ram or is better at ray tracing it doesnt matter the games look the same and people dont want to pay that price tag for a such a small difference especially if they already have a ps5. The ps5 pro cost the same amount as a decent pc and personally my console friends have mostly moved to pc as we grew up and generally people who want to game prefer pc (i know you like console gaming and i get why i do to but i dont think the small visaull upgrade is worth the price or sacrifing getting a good pc for)
You're not getting a decent pc for 700 😂 and you're paying for fidelity mode at 60fps 🤦♂️ it was literally the selling point told by Mark cerny himself
@@tristman8413 here in australia the ps5 cost alot more (more than 1k dollars) so you can. I know your paying for fidelity mode at 60 fps but fidelity mode looks almost the same as performance in most games so your only getting a very small upgrade. just buy a steamdeck or switch the only people i have seen that defend the ps5 pro are sony fan boys who praise anything they do
I already have a PS5 and the pro is night and day compared to the base PS5. Nobody can judge this off of compressed TH-cam videos it completely different when you play it especially on an OLED.
@@TrilogyIsCoolThat's a lie it does not look the same on the pro. So everyone on Twitter are fanboys? People that have actually bought this thing like myself will all tell you it's completely different it's a noticeable upgrade especially for stuff like stellar blade and rebirth.
Personally I believe it’s just too expensive. There’s minor upgrades and to sell a “pro” product I need to know why I need to be buy it now with urgency from a marketing point of view. Sony hasn’t delivered that and they’re moving like Apple, buy the phone buy the charging block separate when the phone cost £1000+. This pro should’ve had a disc drive included with the price it’s currently at.
I agree with you on the console end but you have no idea how fun modding is, console gaming is like apple a closed ecosystem that does what it does within it phenomenally pc gaming is like android completely open with a world of possibilities for individuals to truly tailor make their own experiences with being a dev or game designer, both options serve a purpose and do it well.
100% worth it..The games I've played look and play amazingly on the pro compared to the old PS5 it's like night and day especially on Rebirth, Spider-Man 2, Stellar Blade, and Last Of Us: Part 2 Remastered.
Bro said night and day, most games are less than a 35% improvement, noted by DIgital Foundry whom was expecting 45% like Sony said. Did you sell your OG ps5 or did you buy a new Pro outright?
@Smokeywillz I noticed the ones that have the most to say about the pro are the ones that haven't played it...yep night and day I stand on that like the others that actually have one.
@@Jay_Walker92 If you can’t have a logical debate then just say that. How the fuck is an average of a 10%-20% “night and day” level, night and day would be more in the 40%+. $250 bucks? The ps5 pro is $700 + 100 disk drive + 30 stand + psn. You're acting like you don't have to buy a completely new system.

Pretty much paying $700 to play on Midium settings at best, just better ray tracing performance depending on the game
