Ya I seen there was a fair bit of snow north of us here in Windsor. I’m fortunate to be able to ride just about year round, as we don’t get much snow and this past winter only a couple weeks where it got really cold. I’m heading out for a few ride soon, hopefully you’ll be able to get out soon as well.
Any time I hope it helps. I also typically drive two wheels. I also have a 1500 Kawasaki Vulcan classic. Love this bike but my wife has been wanting to get out with me more on my longer trips and she won’t go on the Kawasaki because it’s to uncomfortable for a passenger. Can’t say I blame her and when we test drove both the Harley Tri Glide vs the can am spider, there was simply no way I was going to spend the money on the Harley even though I thought it was the bike I wanted. No power steering on the Harley. That was a deal breaker. Anyways I hope to post more in the future as I get the hang of this TH-cam thing. If there is ever anything you like to no more about let me know and I’ll do my best to respond with a video. Have a great afternoon.
@@toddcuthbert400 thanks for the reply. I looked at the HD Tri-Glide as well since I own a few Harley Davidsons. Great point reference power steering on the Can Am and not on the HD. Note taken. Hi nice bike, i have a,question can you take a closer pic of how you have the rack attached to your hitch and where did you purchase the rack/step? Thank you...ride safe
Hello I can send you some more pics of the set up and info on the platform, got everything off Amazon. Do you have an email I can send it to or how would you like me to get this info to you?
They do demo rides all the time. As long as you have a valid motorcycle license I would go talk to your local dealership to schedule a ride. That’s what I did and I kid you not I took both the HD tri-glide out as well as the Spyder and hands down if you gonna get a three wheeler the HD can’t even come close. The HD for me without the power steering was very hard to drive.
Don’t see the point of paying the extra $2000 dollars for the sea to sky, so opted for the Rt ltd. Still got All the bells and whistles they we need, plus done the upgrades removing reflectors to lights. Added a pedal commander & power bar for my phone & gps. Front grill bar light also . Just waiting on a few more things to go on sale, then will have it professionally wrapped with the kit that x-pel do . Great Spyder. Just the way I have been looking to set one up here in the UK. Could I ask for a link to the platform you use to see if I can purchase it here. Beautiful bike. Enjoy.
Im not sure how to send a link using TH-cam as I’m new to this whole thing. But I just got it off of Amazon.ca. It’s actually a dog set. It’s called “Downtown pet supply dog trailer”. I then added to It a curt 53201 auxiliary automotive light kit also off of Amazon and then finally had to find a wiring harness adapter to go from the square 4 pin can am harness to the 4 pin flat on the curt lights. I found this on a site called slingmods.com. Finally you have to remove the ball on the hitch and install a 2inch receiver for the platform to go into. Hope this information helps and hopefully you can either get it off of Amazon Canada or the same parts are offered on your Amazon site. Good luck and ride safe
I have the 2021 model of this motorcycle. The only difference is that it is light green in color. When it comes to driving, it doesn't feel like a motorcycle or a car. It has a different driving dynamics. The plus side is that it is flashy and big. The minus side is maneuverability. I am constantly nervous, especially when entering corners. That’s why I’m thinking of returning to two wheels.
I agree it’s definitely a different feeling compared to my Kawasaki, but for the much longer rides that I do it’s far more comfortable and my wife will not only ride with me now she feels alot more safe on it. Cornering definitely takes a bit of time to get used to, but I personally even feel safer cornering on it as I know it won’t slide out from under me.

They did also indicate in the email they are still working hard to get this issue fixed sooner then later but could not offer a timeframe. So it may still be awhile. Other than that all is working well. I had some error codes as well when I first got the bike that the dealership just cleared as they said they were mostly due to either CarPlay not working or when they received and put the bike together for the first time. They said the mechanic should have cleared everything before I took it home. Haven’t had anything since. Perhaps same with yours unless it was also acting up. I’m from Canada and yes I’m still waiting for can am to release the update to get the Apple CarPlay and BRP connect working. The other issue I’m still having that is supposed to be included in the update is that my speedometer is in MPH and we are KPH here in Canada so I’m constantly having to catch myself and slow down when I realize I’m speeding. I wouldn’t thought if nothing more they would have fixed this issue as I consider it a safety issue. Aside from that though I’m enjoying the bike and am very happy with the purchase. Hoping to do another video soon.
That’s beautiful I love white

Thought I’d be the same, but the matte paint doesn’t show the dirt and very simple to clean. But I get it, it’s not for everyone.
Never liked any white bike. Surely they could offer colour of choice.
