A warning about SONY headphones. I had two sets of thieir highend regular "studio" phones. On both of them, the plastic "leather" that surrounds your ears, started crumbling and flaking off in 3-4 years. I've got 20+ year old headphones that have never done this. So I wrote it off to a fluke and ordered genuine SONY replacements. Guess what happened again? Since then I bought slightly more expensive replacements from a different audio maker, and still have no problem with them. SONY has apparently buying cheap plastics from poor sources. I'd hate to buy pricey headphones from them--only to have them crumble apart the same way.
Did you know that on another TH-cam channel of Naomi Campbell stating that they"ve been suing their consumers just for using their website? Since Sony Corporation has been in cohoots with deceiving their own customers since way back in 2008, things had slowly but surely going downhill from there. Since Sony Corporation had stopped making decent headphones, and their computer software and hardware products, things for them having been the same ever since. Shame on them.

I think it would have been good to clarify that one could get an Android phone if it was from a manufacturer that allows bootloader unlocking, in order to install a custom ROM (and that the user plans to do so). It's not like you can buy them with an OS other than Android on them (in like 99% of cases at least)

Gday Rob, what sort of laptop would you recommend. Starting with just a USB drive holding data from previous ACER with windows 10. Don’t really want Microsoft or google in my laptop anymore.
Hi Rob, Just wanted to confirm that you presently only do the "BYOD Custom ROM Install" for the Pixel 7 on the 7 and 7a phones- but *not the (faster) pro model? Thanks in advance! : )
Thanks for this list. My spouse handed me a new iPhone and I gave it right back to them. Then I came to look you up. I don't want a radioactive spy device.
Per the Apple airtag website.. “Only you can see where your AirTag is. Your location data and history are never stored on the AirTag itself. Devices that relay the location of your AirTag also stay anonymous, and that location data is encrypted every step of the way. So not even Apple knows the location of your AirTag or the identity of the device that helps find it.” Is the assumption that this is a lie? Or is there some detail they’ve omitted?
AOSU and Eufy are not connected to Amazon. But not unsurprising if they use AWS since most big companies do and even I use it for Brax.me. Ring and Blink are directly under the control of Amazon. Your videos are stored locally on your device and are encrypted when viewing.

I forgot about Drones. You see in my part of town, I have very limited areas for flying drones so I could never actually use one. But they're fine gifts
WD 36 TB drive is $1200, but your suggested Synology Drive is only $250?? I feel the 36 TB is probably a fake drive and it's somehow faked in the software. Have you tried to save 36 TB of data without it deleting stuff as you save it??
I have a Rocketbook that seems similar to the eInk or Boox mentioned here. Do you have any info. or opinion/ warnings aghast this product, other than the obvious no no accounts to avoid linking to?
I can't believe someone gave you one of those things as a gift. Maybe they were trolling you haha. "Good for target practice" Yea you should have recorded it and sent them the video.
Maybe next week, sweepers and scanners and gadgets to find out if there are transmitters hidden in the room?
