      This first version of the Wahoo rival is like a glorified Fitbit. And for 500 bucks, correction 380 bucks, they can keep it. Saying that, i know Wahoo is a good company that will more than likely keep on piling the features on this watch. But as it stands, i absolutely would not even give this watch a second look, when you have the Coros Pace 2 for less than half the price and half the weight 👍 I'm not even bringing the Fenix 6 or the 945 in here, because that's a no contest. Again a new watch that took a lot of inspiration from Garmin and their UI.

    • @DesFit
      @DesFit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The UI and interface is much different than Garmin. Garmin doesn’t have Perfect View Zoom and they use a different button configuration which is a big departure from other manufacturers. On the outside though, it was easy to hide since it looked nearly the same the the Fenix 6 Pro Solar that I use, but I’m sure they had this designed a long time before the 6 Pro Solar came out.

  • @ryparken1199
    @ryparken1199 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the review, man. I mainly do long distance events, so forgive me for not being impressed with the touchless transition feature. I only use the watch when it's actually needed - during the run. You can't sight at the watch when swimming, and I prefer to have a bike computer (it's also safer). So, I put the watch on only when running (you can also do it while you are actually running). I've picked it up several years ago from the pros, and have never missed the multisport profile. As for the rest - the new watch falls short of Garmin in more than one way, so why would you want it at all.
