With Empress of Light, the theme just slaps you in the face, grabs you and says "You didn't summon this thing, you just pissed it off"

She makes her projectiles predictable making her a better boss than moonlord imo, they might look intimidating but once you know how they work then they're pretty easy to dodge as long as you don't get too overwhelmed.
I feel like the devs can actually add humanoid bosses like her, but this is the final update, there is nothing in the future, if there is Terraria 2, all hopes is up
well they planed on doing a second game "terraria otherworld" but after some Time they scraped the Idea( in 2018) of doing it but some Content mad it in Terraria 1.4 But if you look around in the Internet the are some websites saying "There is a small chance that RE-Logic starts working on Terraria Otherworld under some conditions" but the answer if they work again on this game is not 100% clear.

So I decided to go solo, on even harder difficulty. Now I'm playing in Malice Anger Death difficulty (no hit). I've already been able to go quite far, but I haven't used the additional difficulty increasers (like steel heart). It's a matter of time when I will complete it. By the way, I'm a touhou player, maybe that's from where my love for hardcore comes from.

I get that the "elf lady" is the EoL, I think the "screaming infection" may be Radiance from Hollow Knight, but I don't know what the "replacement for the sun" is.
I think he's talking about only the Empress, since the Hallow is an infection like Crimson and Corruption, EoL is a butterfly and elf, and since she is the empress of light the light is the replacement for the sun
After dying to her 200 times, day and night, in a quest to obtain a Terraprisma as a Summoner in Master mode, I can now enjoy the remixes in peace. Excellent fight, never did I feel the fight was hopeless and beyond me, but every death pushed me to go further, try again, and again, over and over till I was able to beat her, once and for all. Ofcourse, I still retrigger the fight once I did get the Terraprisma by accidently killing another Prismatic Lacewing. Except Terraprisma shredded her, and I knew all her patterns by then.
@Dosh Yeah, 24/7 fights, nighttime for Kaleidoscope/Soaring Insignia/Empress Wings and the daytime for Terraprisma. I beat her 3 times at night, then one time at day.

For some reason, She and the Princess NPC has a lot in common. 1. Hair. Why is Hair important? They both have pink hair. 2. Royalty. They both have obvious names and looks. 3. Caring. Why would EoL care for anyone? She cares about the near extinct Prismatic Lacewings. The Princess cares about NPCs. 4. Powers. They both have the power of light emitted from hands when attacking.

The most intense boss fight I've ever witnessed. My first encounter was abrupt and thought this boss was walk in the park , but I was highly mistaken, thus adrenaline kicked in and had no choice but to fight seriously.

After dying to her 200 times, day and night, in a quest to obtain a Terraprisma as a Summoner in Master mode, I can now enjoy the remixes in peace. Excellent fight, never did I feel the fight was hopeless and beyond me, but every death pushed me to go further, try again, and again, over and over till I was able to beat her, once and for all.
Ofcourse, I still retrigger the fight once I did get the Terraprisma by accidently killing another Prismatic Lacewing. Except Terraprisma shredded her, and I knew all her patterns by then.
what did you use? it only took me ten tries because sanguine staff is op. kaleidoscope dealt good dps too
@Dosh Yeah, 24/7 fights, nighttime for Kaleidoscope/Soaring Insignia/Empress Wings and the daytime for Terraprisma. I beat her 3 times at night, then one time at day.

The most intense boss fight I've ever witnessed. My first encounter was abrupt and thought this boss was walk in the park , but I was highly mistaken, thus adrenaline kicked in and had no choice but to fight seriously.
I’m a sucker for terraria. I’m an even bigger sucker for epic boss music. But I’ll turn into a whole vacuum over remixes like this that make these boss fights seem infinitely more awesome than they already are.
