Hi Greg, it's Mike Florence. HEY, I've only just recovered from the New Way Hot Dog!!! Give us a break Man!!!! OK, jokes aside, this is a VERY WORTHWHILE burger from you. Yep, the sauce deserves all the attention you gave it. Great build and the chopped bacon and crispy onions a really fine combo. Yet again, thanks so much Greg. Cheers for now, Mike.
Two videos in one day! I’m in heaven. Great work as always Greg. I’m from the UK but I think you should be recognised as a US national treasure! You’re effectively putting together a detailed, digital archive of the great American burgers which the public can access at any time. Amazing.
This burger looks amazing! It's probably one of the best if not the best looking burger I've seen from your channel... those smash Patty's were perfect! ...
Bonehead style sauce -About 1/4 cup Mayonnaise -A few dashes of Worchestershire sauce -1/2 tsp cumin -Few dashes of paprika -Little dash of Cayenne -Bit of pickle juice
Greg. The longer you are doing these videos the better they get. Still doing your own stuff without all the needless flash, producers, etc. Keep them coming!!!
I've mentioned this before, but next time you're out in the Nashville, TN area, don't forget to check out Fat Mo's burger. When I lived there, I really liked it.
Hey Greg…For local San Diego I could be wrong but can’t find The Crack Shack (I know Chicken) on your channel. Or Weinerschnitzel also San Diego. I mean you have two channels. 😂 Cheers!
You should have millions of subs…still the best…just keep on going…your knowledge has real value and your enthusiasm is boundless…soon the message will break through and all will understand…love from the UK…
Really enjoy your shows and yes i'm calling them shows lol , going to try your onion strings today had already decided on burgers , not having much luck with onion rings for years now so going to try again keep it simple an go for strings instead of rings 🤣
Thanks Greg! - Yet another original version of the ubiquitous smash burger! - Needless to say that the "smash burger" is a "thing" in North America. - Cheers!
That is a fantastic looking burger, those toppings are all great choices. What you absolutely need to try as well is cowboy candy on a burger along with Manchego cheese.
Greg, we're still waiting for that burger cookbook that you hinted at ... maybe two years ago. This looked like a really good one. I wonder what that sauce would do for a venison burger? I guess I'll have to find out.
just once for a laugh, Id love to see Greg spit out his first bite and say he screwed up. doubt thats ever gonna happen though .. the big fella is too good at his craft. great video and cheers from Australia 🍻🤘
Please do the Father's Office burger from Los Angeles! It's famous for being rated the best burger in the USA. Or a little closer to you, the incredible ARC hamburger in Costa Mesa (Orange County).
When it comes to burgers, if a burger looks like something I can order at a fast food chain, I skip it. It needs to be special, otherwise I might as well just go to McDonald's for their cheeseburgers. In-n-Out is the exception to that. I live in LA County but did a quick search on San Diego burger places. These are some placed I'd like to check out: Notorious Burgers: Handcrafted Burgers and Beer Swagu Burgers Queenstown Public House - Bare Lamb Burger Anny's Fine Burger Boomerang's Crazee Burger Hodad's - Guido Burger I basically Googled best burgers and skipped over any suggestions that looked like something I'd already had before at a fast food chain, even though it likely would taste better.
It's been a while since I've been in San Diego. Can hardly believe it doesn't come with brussel sprouts and avacado. That was definitely a thing about 15 - 20 years ago in SoCal. Looks like a perfectly good burger without it. Might not be too bad with it.
Sup Greg, this burger looks amazing, sauce sounds great, everything does. Love this, between the not dog and this made me happy and smile, drool lol. Appreciate you bro, tyvm tc 🍔
Hey Greg, not sure if you have tried Easy Street Burger in California or Not a damn Chance burger in Austin Texas. 2 very good smash burgers! Love your videos by the way!!
Hey Greg! So I know you've been on youtube for 50 years so you may have covered this before, but do you have any videos on maintenance for your grills and stuff? I saw you scraping up the fond on that flattop and it made me wonder how often and your methods for cleaning it, or how you get ashes out of those various BBQ orbs you have, or any of that stuff! I think gritty outdoor tools is one of the things that puts people off grilling because they don't know how to maintain their wonderful food helpers
Dang that's a good looking burger. I had to laugh, I was thinking that was an old school Tupperware container and then you said it was from the 80s LOL.
Hey Greg😃I love the name of that burger😆Nice crust on those patties😃Happy Wife, Happy Life😄That Bonehead Burger looks delicious😋I want some😀An Extra "BIG"👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
I absolutely love your channel and I have to give it to you. You’re like a fucking burger genius I would trust my life with you to make a good burger 100% of the time.
San Diego has too many awesome spots to eat, Greg I'm sure you've either been there or have heard of it. But Anny's Fine Burgers is super good. I haven't been in a long long time but looking up reviews on Google and Yelp it's still great. Their garlic parmesan fries are out of this world. But with how SD is and how many newer places they have, Anny's might only be average now lol.

Might sound weird but something about watching Greg's cooking is soothing lol. Also that sauce omg is fire!
Really dig the boneheads down at the VFW in imperial beach. Also gotta do your take on the Friendly and Rocky’s!
Greg, I agree with you entirely about how a nice slice of onion can really accent a burger in a positive way.

Great Burger ✅. Is Hodads still popular? I’ve had that before. Cheers 🥂 Take Care
Hodads still going strong👍
@@markhilsen2700 Thank you so much 😊.
At least back in the 70s San Diego and Southern California had some killer food.
Thats exactly what I would do!
There's a lot going on in this burger and I mean that in a good way !
Cumin in the sauce seems odd but I'm sure it's good. Think I'll make this today!
