Truck Camping Basics

This video shows easy, basic modifications to our Ford F-150 Super-Cab with 6-1/2' bed and an ARE Cap for our first truck camping trip.
We started with an 88 day (10,905 miles) adventure from Florida to the Canadian Maritimes (focusing on Newfoundland/Labrador). We were home (Florida) for 3 weeks and left again for Colorado where we spent another month. The truck allowed us to stay in some AMAZING remote locations where there were no hotels or even campgrounds nearby ... for free. See our photo album in the links below for a few of our photos.
Total of 5 months, 15,400 miles, 19 states and 5 Canadian provinces. Many National Forests, National Parks, and a few Walmart parking lots.
Since then, Casey has gotten a taller cap for more headroom and continues to use it for truck camping.
