  • In this video we walk around the suburb of Mount Pleasant in Perth, Western Australia. This is an expensive suburb on the Canning River offering a great lifestyle.
While the house price is out of the reach of most people, the increase in apartment buildings in Mount Pleasant offers an opportunity for people to be able to live in the suburb at a more affordable price.

It's the stain from bore water use. If the bore hasn't been sunk low enough then the water will stain everything it touches. If you use mains water it has been treated and won't stain anything - but it costs a lot of money to use mains water for a large garden. The only cost of using bore water is the cost to install the bore. As they charge for the depth - that is why so many people opt for a shallow bore and don't go down further as it costs more.

Are Air Source Heat Pumps widely used for Domestic applications, [Cool the house in summer and heat in winter]. Can you supply a rough cost to install this equipment if poss.?

Unfortunately we don't know much about air source heat pumps or how much they cost.

@@vloggersontheloose No prob's, thanks for answering. I really enjoy your post's about Perth which are not only informative but funny. I enjoy your "Mump of the Day" , I'm sure more than I would like that to feature a lot more. Go on fella, get stuck into them, you say it, whilst the others just think it.

How do you manage the heat in summer time? and do you get used to it

    • @vloggersontheloose

You do get used to it but it's easier to handle if you have air conditioning and don't go out in the heat of the day. Going out in the morning is always better than the afternoon. The maximum temperature seems to be lasting longer into the afternoon and it's not unusual to get temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius after 5pm in summer.

It's really hot in Summer dry heat sucks the moisture straight out of you need to stay hydrated constantly.
