Iranian air defence systems shot down Israeli projectiles over the central city of Isfahan on Friday. The air strike was Israel's response to Iran's unprecedented missile and drone barrage last weekend. Benjamin Netanyahu has gone ahead with the attack despite threats of "severe punishment" from the Iranian regime. While Israel's government is yet to publicly claim the strike, US officials have confirmed that Israel was behind it. The city of Isfahan is located in central Iran and is home to Iranian fighter jets, a missile production complex and nuclear sites. Will this attack trigger another response from Iran?
