We have a rule in our house that you can’t go downstairs/ out without taking something with you. Trash, recycling, green waste, etc. It really helps in keeping us on the winning side of it over running the place! It’s now part of my routine and it works!
Yes!!! We have this rule too!! It’s super helpful. Even if the big trash isn’t full, the bathroom trash probably is or there’s an empty box from my seltzers or… anything! Super duper helpful to prevent build up
For gently used items see if there is a local church or non-profit (battered women’s shelter or veteran services etc.) that will pick up the items for you. Where I live they do it for free so you get rid of your stuff while helping others in need 😊

About the shoes off/shoes on thing: you should get yourself some nice house slippers. I for one wear fluffy uggs in the house. That way you have the best of both. No outside dirt in the house, but still have your feet protected and warm

Beverages (plural for me) of choice for my mornings. I have a cup of warm lemon water followed by a cup of my "green smoothie" (similar to AG1 however I also add in Kefir and fruit). Then I have my tea which can be anything because I have a HUGE collection of teas (as I'm a tea lover).
I found your chanel a couple of months ago when i moved into my own little 42 m2 flat in berlin. Feeling lonely from time to time watching your content helped a lot. I didnt hat a lot of time, money and energy to make this place my own and it was nice to have a "just moved in" buddy in you to motivate me. It is so comforting seeing someone redoing/moving into their space at the same pace as me. I moved this august and it’s so easy to feel like I’ve “failed” if there isn’t a neat timeline and you haven’t gotten everything “perfect” in the right amount of time. But there is no actual timeline. And maybe my space will never quite feel perfect, and that’s okay! Anyways, thanks for sharing ☺️

Balsam for is an evergreen tree and my fav smelling of that family of smells. It's like pine....but sweet. So nature-y without the bugs! 😊 I have a suggestion for you. Now you sold your dw you might be able to move your mic to the far left on your main counter out of the way. Get it off the top of the fridge for easier reach to a better\safer plug! Coffeemaker can share that plug but they both produce heat so don't use at the same time. PS on your inspiration (and thanks to a black Friday sale and my birthday) I bought an apartment size washing machine, I am so happy with it. Mine is different\smaller than yours but fully automatic and perfect. And like yours, mine runs off the kitchen sink. No more sink laundry. Amen!

I moved out a few weeks ago and it's so comfortable to see that it takes time to completely furnish an apartment. In other videos, the apartments are always immediately finished and perfect. I love watching you progress slowly and not everything has to be perfect right away.

I was also raised in a household where shoes were worn indoors… until we took them off eventually and just walked around barefoot! 😂 I don’t know if it’s because we were poor and working class, but it didn’t seem to be such a big deal back then. We didn’t have carpet or rugs, though, so that helped.

Where I live, people put things they want to get rid of outside and someone always takes it. One man's trash, another man's treasure. I put two washers and two dryers out, didn't even have the last machine out and someone was already taking them.

About the shoes, I have to wear shoes (also prone to plantar fasciitis and not raised in a shoeless house), but the city is gross (I’m in midtown) so I bought a pair of shoes only for indoors. It works great! And, about the furniture that doesn’t sell, I recommend putting them on Craig’s list for free. Free stuff always goes, and you’re not filling the landfill. Love your channel! You’re adorable!😊

My husband and I just moved and our apartment is quite messy and your videos are motivating to get it all together in a gentle way. In the mornings we drink decaf vanilla English breakfast and my husband drinks coffee 🥰🥰

I live alone and have one of those dishwashers (well not that exact model?!) made such a great improvement for me in terms of eating healthy… I’ve had it for years and love it. I bought pans with detachable handles! 😂 I have it further from sink as I can pour the water in through the hole above. Loving the videos. Have a super Christmas 🎄
