Tatya tope escaped and he was betrayed by Maan Singh (local zamindar of shivpuri) then was captured by British official and was hanged on 19th April 1859 in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh.

@PathFinder Mahipal sir you mention that Mangal Pandey was hanged on 6th April ( 18:55 ) but in Bipan Chandra it is mentioned that he was hanged on 29th March 1857 for attacking his superior officers. Please clear.
