  • This Time on Tristan Rail Productions we Take you to The South, of Knoxville Tennessee! For the First Time Ever in TN, it was time to Visit a Certain Southern Railway 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive. In Knoxville Tennessee, is a Railroad Called Three River Rambler. At Christmas time, The TRR Host Christmas Lantern Trains from Knoxville to the Holston River Bridge. Pulling these Trains is Southern Railway 2-8-0 No.154, This Little Engine is A Proud 130 Year Old Steam Locomotive, Built by the Schenectady Locomotive Works in 1890. No.154 Served on the East Tennessee, Virginia & Georgia Railroad From 1890 to 1894 as No.466, Which the Railroad Merged With the Southern Railway. No.154 Served on the Southern Railway Until About 1953, On the Knoxville to Bristol Branch, Later Murphy Branch, until Retirement. No.154 Sat on Display in Chilhowee Park for Many Many Years, until TRR Got her, She Returns to an Excursion Career in 2010. No.154 Has Proudly Pulled Trains on Occasion, on the TRR Since Then.
    In This Video We Have the Chance to Capture and Videograph this Little Engine, For No.154s Boiler Time has Expired, and now Have the Privilege to Visit, and See No.154 in Action, with Multiple Shots in this Video. This Marks as the Final time No.154 will run for a While, So Hopefully One Day again in the Sometime Future. The Weather did Not Cooperate, So Some Shots are Darker than Others. The Three River Rambler is a Great Operation, So Sit Back, Relax, and Enjoy Southern Railway Steam With No.154 on the Rambler!
