      Thanks for the video and I appreciate your work, I got one but now my doubt is...what kind of pole is the best or proper to the tent resistant any weather?
      Thank you very much

    Can absolutely recommend this tent - used it in Wales and Dartmoor. Easy to pitch and take down, no condensation to speak of and plenty roomy for 1 plus kit plus a labrador!

    Just brought this tent and did a test run in my back garden before I head out next week on a backpacking weekend.
    I’m 5’-10” and 15-1/2 stone and had no problems with space.
    I didn’t get the ground sheet but after seeing this I might add that now.
    Thanks again for a very enjoyable video…..!!

    Most one person tents are just too small.

    I have the Lanshan 2. with both of the inner plus the footprint. I opted for more space and have no regrets. The most I have hiked for a wildcamp is 2 miles. I hike mostly with a base camp. I hike 6 miles then return to the car . Ibhave thought about long distance hikes and wukdcamping . And know it isn't for me. But I appreciate and admire people who do. thanx again for a great video.

    Honestly would love this for solo fishing trips. Or a all season able to survive a bit of winter.
    Partner wants to come along tho. Not sure what I might do. Don't get me wrong, sleeping with another is fine. But camping? It feels crowded on a cot or a small mattress. Especially if they are a tad bit heavier and you go up and end up rolling into their space.

    Do you think that a stronger wind will lift the outer too much as it seems the front section is pretty high up.
    Other question: My trecking poles have fixed heights - would 120 poles be fine? Sseems you can use 120-125 cm poles as per specs, but it might be that 120 leads to a saggy outer/inner?

    How do mate! Tbh it's a rebranded Lanshan 1, some of the pictures of it on their website they've used are Lanshan branded.
    I've no problem with that though, I really get on with my Lanshan. Prices are a bit bonkers atm, but so is everything.
    The stitching on the fly panel guy outs aren't taped, so worth whacking a bit of sealant on them.

    • @GoodBlokeOutdoors
      @GoodBlokeOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly that mate. And yeah I will buy some seam sealer and do the guy out panels, i had read that somewhere before.. iv had it in the rain and seemed fine but nothing torrential so i’ll get the seam sealing done just to be on the safe side, thanks for that mate and cheers for the comment

    Hello,
    Thanks for your video.
    What ground sheet do you use?
    Would you counsel this tent for the GR20 ( a lot of stones)?

    • @martinwunsche3545
      @martinwunsche3545 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey hey, I made gr20 last year at the end of August. Made it in 6,5 days, so I didn't slept at every shelter. I used Lanshan 2 pro, cleaned the surface very well from every stone, but sometimes I though, it would be nice to have a groundsheet ( just the area, where you place your knees or sit down, to protect the tent). For my opinion, I had a lot of space in Lanshan 2 pro and I like to buy a Lanshan 1 pro cause of weight.
      For building, at some places it was a little bit difficult cause of the little stones, but I build it very well for every night, so don't worry. If you don't have two left hands , it will be no problems 😅
      I think, Lanshan 1 pro is better cause of less space needed to set it up. With Lanshan 2, I had to improvise sometimes cause of the wider area, which is needed for it.

      @@GoodBlokeOutdoors - Many places in the US and elsewhere have ground that is too rocky and/or sandy to allow pegs to be effectively used. I was just being 'clever.'
      Lots of workarounds. I use pieces of tarp with rocks on them as anchors, myself.
      The good thing is, we in the arid western US don't have water coming out of the air all the time, and the sandy/rocky soil drains very well... Of course, our green is a bit different. 😊
