I find it ironic that the last fight of Haomaru with Genjiro he lost and Genjiro got killed by a kid who took revenge on him killing his parents, talk about karma. The one thing I'm glad that Haomaru even in late 40's is still a tough as ever and got Mikoto back safely. I won't be surprise if there is a SS where Mikoto and old Haomaru are present.

Very nice series; watched all 3 videos. The story of these last few games is really wacky but I find it somehow endearing. I also enjoy how instead of forcing Haohmaru to the frontline all the time, it created new characters and allowed the passing of time (even decades!). I feel that aspect always makes stories a little bit more epic and grounded....even when they're this full of anime tropes. I'd like for these designs to be re-adapted for a sequel to 2019's Samsho in the future.
I really liked the series. I'd love if you could do an extra covering the non-canon storylines from the non-canonical games like SamSho 6 or Sen. It's hard to find information about these games, especially the 3D ones, so I'd love to see more.
Wow, this story was way deeper than i gave it credit for Shoryu. I played most of them in Japanese, so i had no idea what i was reading. I love some Shiki, so it was awesome to get some backstory on who she was, It make me want to play them all again lol. Thanks for the breakdown!

I've only played afew of the Samurai Shodown games over the years, been meaning to play them more for a long time and now seems like a good time to finally dive into them properly! Great job bro, just wanted to add a couple things -yuga's warriors are hermaphrodites. Shiki is also a hermaphrodite. Also there is the big meat man made up of body parts (gandara) who got mass produced during yuga's second appearance. shiki fought genjuro who left her a scar on her back in order not to kill her and free her from her tattoo's curse (genjuro has a soft spot for women). When asura's second half took over shiki, he healed the scar and made the tatoo curse stronger. Half shade shiki has both of her eyes red to symbolize how much stronger shiki's curse is (as opposed to her previous single red eye before her curse was lifted)
Its a good fucking thing Haohmaru seeks challenges cause iwouldve been SICK of all these damn demons coming outta nowhere plaguing the freaking land over and over and over.

Because i really want to show it everyone what kind person Terry Bogard is, and also why i fell i loved with this character,not that I'm gay or something, not just because of his abilities and appearance but because of his warm attitude, transparent personality, unwavering spirit, pure of heart, cool and fierce but very approachable and friendly with no exemptions and always enjoys everything even if he doesn't like them he doesn't care. He's the reason how i got my motto, "regardless of what it is, always have fun! and you'll be surprised what happens next."

Just saw part 1 to 3, I saw u upload this vids some time ago just didint wanna see them cus some ppl cant seem to tell the story well, but u actually did a really good job here SPECIALLY part 3 cus its a bit wack with how 1 character is 3 (u know what I mean) even so this is a well put together video with well edit and fun as well, I really like it over all, I wanna be honest here, I NOT a SS fan... as in I NEVER played a SS like in high level, the ONLY reason I loved SS was 2 things, the MAIN reason is "Shiki", she is my fave SNK character #1 in my book, and I played her in SVC Chaos and NGBC, I try to get the SS64 games but there hard to come by. :s and the other was cus SSVI, I LOVE "Iroha" and im sad she is NOT much in SS games.... ;-; even tho she got her on spin off gams cus she was popular, but main Point is Im a SUPER Shiki fans since the 2002 and pretty much know everything its need to know of her and backstory and fam, reason Y I know ur video is well put together. The history in general is somewhat even better than SAMURAI X itself... SNK series have so much potential for anime is ridiculous, If i was disgustingly rich i would actual patreon China and Jaan producers, no doubt. It also makes me wonder, where was Kenshin Himura in all this, since SamSho history takes place around the same age. I also wonder who's stronger.

There is some many endings on Warriors Rage 64, I assumed the ending where Tohma attempts to kill himself when he leaped from the castle balcony. I wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of the warriors rage story.
I don't like the last game at all. I hate when characters get old and/or a new generation comes and few old-timers stay. It only worked in Tekken 3 because the series was starting.
