To me this song is a short bio of my late wife, Mary - a tall, beautiful, pale, dark brunette, shy and painfully quiet. She told me once as a waitress a guy tipped her in penny's - An orphan who loved people, and received a lot abuse in return, the world dimmed the day she died.
