I think Thomas Markle caused more harm than Kate and William. Much more. In doing so Meghan was very very vulnerable and needed more support. Keep in mind Brits and Americans are from two very different cultures to be fair to both Meghan and Kate.

I see this as one of those sibling things. My mother is 81 and she still gives advice to her 71 year old sister. I'm doing the same to my brother and sister and vice versa they do the same when I have big decisions to make. I listen, still, I decide things myself, no resentment that they try to guide me with their ideas. The perk of having caring siblings, I think. If one can't see it through, one's lose.

Meghan never had the luxury of a honeymoon period. Things even got worse for her at the news of her pregnancy.

When Kate was pregnant, no one hounded her the way Meghan was hounded. No one said that any of her pregnancies were fake and that they were silicone. No one compared any of her children to a chimpanzee. So pardon me, Meghan is treated worse .

She is now a respected member of the Royal Family . If Meghan and Harry had done the same , things would have been different and the people they’re supposed to serve would be supportive of them . The problem was, Meghan didn’t want to serve anyone and she wanted to do things her way , so they did the best thing by leaving . Harry wanted to make her happy so he left everything he knows behind .

In the case of the offensive comment about archie, it was a bbc radio presenter that was sacked afterwards. While press may have made bitchy comments about using private planes, the press didn't comment about her pregnancy being fake or being offensive by comparing archie to an animal.

that’s a good, thoughtful question, but I disagree about the starting premise. It is not about “favorable” reporting, it is about journalistic integrity and “true” reporting which focuses on the work (and not on what someone was wearing on any given day, for instance). It forces the royal family into un-natural displays of public clothing and behavior, no matter what good works they may try to do. Harry and Meghan turned their backs on that, as it is irrelevant to issues in the world today. And release the bulk of their news directly through their charities rather than voluntarily becoming tabloid click-bait. This is what has brought them followers outside of the U.K.

The queen has a duty to look after all crown property, and had given the go ahead of the refurbishment BEFORE she told H &M they could live there if they paid for all of the furnishings etc themselves. H&M are also paying rent to the queen for frogmore cottage even though they are not living there. 3 holidays that they themselves paid for, again a widely known fact, apart from one, and it was Elton John who let them have a holiday in his home, and even gave them the use of his private jet !!! 83 engagements while pregnant, she was working up until a month before Archie's birth !!! They did in fact move into Frogmore Cottage when the renovations were finished, again, another widely known fact !! She also paid for some of her own clothing, unlike other royal ladies. I didnt hear them " lecturing " on anything, only discussions, with others all over the world. But please, just let the trashy tabloids tell you what they think you need to read, and let H&M get on with their lives, the UK no longer bank rolls them. Maybe its time to find out what the other royals are spending our taxes on.... and its not helping out the charities they are patrons of. In fact, one charity hadnt seen their patron since 2012 !!! My sister sent me a link to a very well done video about Diana with plenty of footage regarding what she had been through and the MASSIVE mistreatment/no support she got from the "Firm", her husband, (Charles was in bed with Camilla the night before his wedding to Diana and a lot of other things he did to her) the press, the RR and the men in grey suits (A lot of which I had forgotten) and it was stunning to see the similarities regarding the way they treated Meghan not counting the racism aspects.
It reminded me of why Harry said he had ENOUGH of their crap and left with his wife and son. He is at peace with his family and they deserve that. God bless them.

I thought it was great too. Just needed 2 more chapters talking about all the Palace leaks to the British media that most of the Royal Reporters stated were being leaked by Courtiers and some members of the Royal Family. It was a coordinated smear campain against Meghan.

I really don't ever want to use the internet to be mean. However, I am sorry to say that I've read this book and I couldn't stop laughing. Did you ever have it edited? It's full of grammatical and spelling errors and incorrect syntax. If Meghan didn't provide you with the bulk of this information, you must be incredibly close to her. I am a feminist and I have a black boyfriend. There have been a couple of truly nasty racist things written about Meghan that I believe there should have been a protest over. Nevertheless, apart from two or three examples, the British people and press initially embraced Meghann and went out of their way to make her fit in. She is just a narcissist. My own sister has three young children and no longer has the time to see or talk to me as frequently as she did. Okay, she doesn't have the domestic help that Kate Middleton does; conversely, she doesn't have the endless other appointment, commitments and duties. The mere fact that Meghan felt that Kate didn't make enough effort with her, shows what a grandiose opinion she has of herself,
No offense, but ts the author of this book blind? He comes across as very intelligent so I can't believe that he thinks there's any evidence for great love between Meghan and Harry. Harry looks more miserable than he has ever looked since he married Meghan. Our monarchy is the only one to survive; other European monarchs are just symbols of past that disappeared a long time ago and they no hold any significance in terms of the constitution of their countries. Therefore, as a British royal, there is no one, other than Harry's own family, that have any idea what it's like to live as he has done all his life. This is especially true of William. Whatever went on between the royal family and Diana, she never once encouraged either of her sons to leave the royal family. On the contrary, she taught them from a very young age that the luxurious lifestyle that came as their birthright, included a serious duty to the crown, the history of a 1,000 year old dynasty, and most importantly, a duty and ability to serve those less fortunate than themselves. She grew up as an 'lady' from one of Britain's most esteemed aristocratic family. They knew the royal family and had the utmost respect for its tradition. Diana would have learnt this at home and right through her schooling, and while she expressed the hurt she felt by individual royals, she never questioned the institution.
My own opinion is that Meghan uses feminism, black lives matter,. or any thing else she can think of to try to pass herself off as some kind of Diana. I cannot think of two more opposite women. I'm not saying Meghan is some kind of evil witch but most people wIth a Narcissistic Personality Disorder don't know they have one. Donald Trump has the same disorder as Meghan. I find that somewhat hilarious.
It's very hard to believe that this hagoraphy was not largely contributed to by Meghan. You are treating the public like idiots by stating that you don't think they will probably even read it. I suspect the true author is Meghan, because I find it hard to believe that two experienced journalists could possibly write so badly, or know such intimate details simply through being part of their press core. If I am wrong about her writing it, or at the very least, giving you some kind of diary to follow, then it means that they must agree with everything you've written. If they didn't, they'd sue you. Already, the family of Trevor have come out to state that he is not the man presented in your book. Clearly he's not. He could have made a fortune by now writing his own book about the real Meghan Markle. He's said nothing. Meghan just has to put everyone else down while she takes no responsibility for her own actions.

The Royal family needs money for all those humanitarian works , not just cutting the tapes and waving as the patron. This made prince of Wales got in touch with saville, Andrew with Epstein and now William with Bill Gate. Kate had to meet a whole 21 or 19 organisations before she could bring things to those babies. The Royal family needs money to be relevant in Great Britain and the money is not coming from their purse but sponsors or they make it available through other means because the government is overwhelmed with necessities but must still be there for us. That is why prince Charles has been VERY successful in that aspect ,not only in Britain but in some common wealth countries. People are not aware of what prince of Wales has done in helping a lot of people by grants through his prince funds. And in the Royal family, Every thing is by line of succession ,so if you have any humanitarian idea to help any cause, you need money . The ones close to the throne take priority, and in the case of William and Harry, William must get first from the duchy's and daddy before Harry. But Harry has a lot of good things that the duchy's can't get done for now ,so he has to do what is best to get the works done either sponsorship or other means. William went around organizations to get money for the mental health projects with the little from the duchy's . Harry has a lot of good and big projects like the sentabale, which is for the children suffering from HIV/AIDS or have lost parents in Africa. That project is so successful because of the continuous support of people. The whole Royal family is for humanitarian works and promotion of such. So I can understand the reason for all that is happening now.
Yes we all have a good understanding of what is happening now. The royal family’s personal fortunes grow, the country’s fortunes are on the decline, and there is a concerted effort to have the British people stress the royal family’s humanitarian efforts over their financial plundering. Meghan's friends sent their private jet for her New York baby shower. The only funded trips were official trips.
