Actually he CAN stop being a Prince of the UK, as demonstrated by the Danish monarchy. Even if it was his birth right he has now chosen a different path in the entertainment industry so it makes no sense for him to hang on to any of those British royalty institutional titles.
That is how I feel too. We should be among equals.

No constitutional tool exists in the UK to strip Harry of his princely title but Parliament can strip him of his dukedom.
The only way Harry can lose his title of prince is if it was discovered that Charles was not his father and a royal decree issued declaring him to be not of the Windsor-Mountbatten bloodline.

Everything about Harry isn't about anything but throwing shade but he never says who and what (we are led to speculate) yet he reveals himself in his comments by his complaining and failure to accept any personal responsibility. He needs a reality check.

When asked what Camilla did, his response is vague word salad. Nothing specific. No stories to accuse her of planting. And this is the way he talks about almost every allegation he makes. Very generic statements with no specific examples and no detail.

He was told at the Sandringham summit in January 2019 that he would not be eligible for security paid by the taxpayer once he left in March 2019. He seems to have not understood or he refused to believe it. Hence suing the home office. You can't pay for this security because it has intelligence from MI5 and MI6.

If I could have planned their lives post royal family, I would have set them up in a beautiful and private cottage in Canada for like 3 years with zero media interaction. I think so much could have sorted itself out with time and likely the death of the queen. Even if it hadn't, at least they could of had a solid approach to telling their side of things. I bet you it would have been so much less messy and insincere sounding had they just been patient and really thought about what they were going to put out and when. The only competion was from Harry's end. Actions throughout the decades, one sees glimpses of that. As well as Harry's antics for the media...it was all there to see. It just escalated after Meghan Markle came into the picture. I feel like I'm seeing a review of Oprah's interview, sans Meghan. I'm surprised and disappointed with GMA.

Sadly the questions are ALL pre-approved and no doubt rehearsed before hand. No new questions ever tossed at Harry because keeping all your lies straight is difficult to sort out.
I have a friend leaving in Spain who bought the book and said that it is well written and extremely detailed and that it will be difficult for the RF lawyers to contradict a so well detailed book. If you have listened to all his interviews so far, he is not contradicting himself. It is better to listen to them if you can and not listen to comments from some tabloid or tv shows. I am not fan of Harry or anyone in the RF, however, by experience, some family issues cannot be resolved when some people don't want to speak especially in big or well exposed family. The RF to take this as an opportunity to discuss directly with him and acknowledge some issues privately with him (the simple example of Lady Diana death is something they can already discuss internally as starting point, so as Camilla responsibility as third person in the couple of Diana and King Charles at the time as well). Some trauma have to be acknowledged by a father or a mother for kids to move on. William attitude (he was already described in the past in a book and some newsletters that William was sometimes aggressive including towards Camilla and his father, this can be a defensive way, but that shows that there are things still not resolved). I have children and it tooks me time with the assistance of a mental health specialist to clear some of my childhood 'trauma' to avoid the same issues with my kids or them facing the same. Our time on earth is limited not unlimited.

From an objective viewpoint, I don't think the truth is still out there unless we hear all sides and not just one narrative. I think it's heartbreaking how much pain this rift is causing all parties.
It appears to me that Harry has deep seated resentment toward Camilla and Meghan is using this to shift negative attention and blame from herself to Camilla. If Camilla is the scheming person Harry is saying she is, she would be the first to pick up on anyone using manipulative tactics to get their own way.

Harry is a royal by birth. He could renounce his family and start over in with a new identity but the press will hound him. He doesn't stop being the child, grandson or brother. It changes nothing unless of course the press leaves him and his family alone.

Harry says the title "spare" has been "used against him for a long part of his life" - but actually here in the UK his public image has been remarkably positive. He has been seen as the slightly rebellious, more fun younger brother, and very popular. His Invictus Games were great and really showed him in a positive light. He is now hell bent on appearing victimized at every possible opportunity - it's actually sad to witness

When in Oprah interview Harry and Meghan told things that were not true,now the book has things that are untrue. His father continued to support him and there is proof. Most people could live a lifetime on what Harrys great grandmother and mother left him. I am American and can't imagine writing a book so hurtful.
The book is a confession of a man who wants to leave all his pain behind and start a new life. I believe that there are things that he could have said, but he didn’t. Harry only confirmed what his mother went through and what the British media have been writing about the royal family and Harry in particular. Prince Harry and his wife must leave the institution behind and live a life of purpose and free from people telling them what to do. God is a just God. An adulterous woman a queen and Harry’s mother gone and yet he is not suppose to talk about it because it offends the very people that contribute to his lost and pain.

Ultimately if H&M wanted to stay as working royals in any capacity, even the 'half in half out' proposal they would have to both be able to pledge allegiance and subservience to William and Catherine when he became King and she Queen Consort. Does ANYBODY really think that would ever be possible? And if it can't, H can never have any active role in the monarchy ever again. The Queen in her wisdom understood this.
I doubt it, William is everything H is not, Catherine is everything Meghan is not, so William as future king cannot made the mistake or putting himself or his family in danger by having Harry close. The Britsih RF is about controlling and dominance of an individual and that applies to family members which is the reason why the BRF has a history of alcohol and substance abuse and mental distress, they are kept in the cage for so long that they dun know how to spread their wings and fly. Everyone has to be moulded to support this machinery. Andrew is a Prince but he has no money, he is not rich at all so is Prince Edward. It about who is the first born that will inherit the titles and the land and the jewellery. King Charles is super rich, he is the Duch of Cornwall and that provides hugh revenue for him and he was crowned Prince of Wales when he was 20 yrs old. That why Megan found it strange that she and Harry have to live and accept living in the Frogmore Cottage on the Palace grounds while his brother and socialite wife and children - Kate lives inside the Palace. It not about meritocracy, it about birthright and being first borned. So no matter what they do, this is what they have to accept within this whole machinery of Royalty. Royalty is about pagantry and theatrical, pomp and glam and a parade of displaying all the finest of dresses, topcoats and hats. Would you accept it. There is no intergrity or moral compass of these ppl and they can pay off and get away with wrong doings like Prince Andrew. No one is to outshine the King or Queen, now you know why Princess Diana is no longer around. I glad the Harkles left and I hope they can live well.

It’s funny that he says his mom would be sad at the breakdown of his and his brother’s relationship. Yet Diana was always fighting with her sibling and mother at one time or another. In fact, at the time of her death, she wasn’t speaking to her mom, Frances Shand-Kydd or her brother, the Earl Spencer. My point is that children see what their parents do and either follow in their footsteps or violently go the other way and break the cycle.

Why do you insist Harry was correct with his book. It's HIS and MEGAN's VERSION. Which account of their engagement is correct? There are three. Mega was the one who told Oprah about racism; but then Harry blamed the media. He asked the interviewer if Megan had ever said it. The interviewer replied "yes". So it wasn't the media Harry. Then over a year later he said racism was not an issue. Which is it? Harry made a huge mistake choosing Megan. She was the one who desperately wants the limelight. She wanted Harry to believe she was DIANA. He fell for it. Now it looks like he married his Mother.
Everyone has a story, everyone has a journey. I don't judge anyone, I don't criticise. It's just listening to others. A real shame that the relationships cannot somehow more easily be resolved from either side, but life is what it is

However way you spin it, this is a blatant selling out of his family. Everybody has problems, siblings almost inevitably come to crosshairs over petty issues, nobody has perfect marriages or upbringings. This isn’t even about the British press which has been writing all sorts of tall tales about that family. This is about Harry’s personal demons, over the top suspicions regarding the press, feelings of inadequacy, resentment over the growing gap between his position in the family business from William, and honestly, I think his wife blew him up with big ideas about being free and independent from his position and a ton of idealistic psychobabble- everything is such spoiled little rich boy, ego driven, without any sort of real world perspective. It’s such a shame bc i bet Diana would have wanted him to be supportive of his brother and all the different causes that would benefited from his participation in the family business. He honestly doesn’t look any happier in these interviews.
He is very wealthy (because of his family), he will never need to work like the rest of us. It´s ridiculous that he isn´t thankful for that. Instead of thinking what he could do with his influence and wealth (for the common good, animal protection etc.), he is only concerned with his "ego".

I don't understand. If they are trying so desperately to get away from the institution of the royal family, why don't they renounce their titles, and stop talking about the royal family? If anything, after their Oprah interview, Megan's children's book which she authored as The Duchess of sussex, her podcast, their docu series, his book and interviews, in which all they ever do is talk about the royal family, it seems that they don't want to get away from them at all. Rather, it seems that that's the only thing they cash in on. Why not get their own lives now? Good grief. I never used to follow the royal family. I did see Harry and Meghan's wedding. I thought she was beautiful. I never had a negative opinion of them, until I saw the Oprah interview. Since then, anytime I ever see either of them, they are complaining. It's hard to believe that two so incredibly privileged people can whine as much as they do. He went from seeming like a really cool and nice guy, to a jealous, cry baby wanna be. He just seems so cheap now - nothing regal here. Maybe he really was a bastard son all along.
Finally, I feel that if Meghan really cared about Harry, his well-being or his happiness, she would have advised him against writing the book. She would have known that the book would cause irreparable damage for him. Instead, I think she goaded him. Princess Kate would so strongly have dissuaded Prince William from doing such a thing. Then again, Prince William would never have been so stupid to begin with. I feel sorry for the children. Harry and Meghan's children now have no family on their father's side. They have barely any family on their mother's side to begin with. Poor Harry and Meghan never make any mistakes, but all of their families seem to be against them. Wish we could make sense of it all.
