I have been a GM guy all my life. I pride myself on only driving American muscle/pony cars for the past 18 years. When it came time to park my 2012 SS Camaro I did what I always do and started looking at newer Camaro's. Unfortunately, I became very unhappy with what I found. Sure the Camaro's are very powerful but they don't look like American too me any longer. I started looking at what Dodge had to offer and immediately I was simply blown away by the endless trim and paint schemes they had on offer. I honestly believe the Challenger is the best looking car on the road today and I had to have one. Flash forward a few months and I finally found the car I was looking for. I picked up a yellow and black Dodge Challenger RT+P with two racing stripes on the side and the letters RT printed in big lettering. What an amazing car...
Never mentioned about the Hurst Edition Challengers that were made from 08, 09, 10, 11. Mine was one of the "original" Hurst production cars from that era, and the cars were actually sent to the Hurst Performance Vehicles facility in Irvine California. Mine is a 2010 Hurst Competition Plus Challenger #30 of approximately 40 cars that included Challengers, Vipers, Mustangs and Camaros. So, I was told that the Hurst Challenger was the top production seller of that Hurst era (four years), the count of each individual Manufacturer was exceptionally low and told to be quite collectable in years to come!!!! Maybe now a part 3 video? Lol!
I guess its because its not really a official model. It as if I bring it to my local garage have it painted and moded and add a badge 1 of 1... its not REALLY a official limited edition =/
The Challenger is the best looking over the Camaro and Mustang. My favorite was the Mopar 2017 Edition. What about the 2014 anniversary model that had some unique features? Or was it not rare enough to make your list? Nice video. Good luck with your studies.👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I really enjoyed both of your Rare Challenger videos, fascinating as a big Challenger fan & owner! I have a 2014 Granite Crystal Metallic Blacktop Edition R/T with rare Super Track Pack which came with the Black & Chrome Shaker rims & Goodyear F-1 ZR rated tires & 392 rear gears.
when they came out with the challenger t/a version it was pretty cool looking . it brought back memories of the original 1970 challenger t/a version that was a 1 year only production with the only engine option being a 340 six pack . the new one had similar stripes and rear spoiler but they blew it using the hood style from the 1970 aar cuda instead of the original challenger t/a .
I just ordered a dodge challenger RT scat pack widebody. Should be arriving April 29 of 2022. It will come fully loaded and I’m excited can’t wait to get it that one is my favorite. And of course it will have a shaker hood.
Fun fact about the Hellcat: the manual transmission used in the Hellcat is the same transmission used in the Viper albeit a slightly different variant.
Question, I bought a 2020 Dodge Challenger R/T 50th Anniversary but I have one question there is no # of 70 on the badge at the dash , is it still limited or did they add more to the production due to popularity? A friend of a friend lol has one his has a number of 70 , we looked at both exactly the same but mine has no #? Thanks for your time ! Thanks 🙏 for your time
You still have one thats SO RARE u forgot to mention.... the 2011 rt classic and srt green with envy edition. Theres only 411 of the rt classics in green with envy
I’ll comment this on pt2 as well but I bought a 2016 Plum Crazy SRT 392 Challenger… it has front and back Mopar sway bars, Mopar mud flaps, other Mopar items also… I assumed it was a Mopar edition but you never mentioned the 2016 challenger in pt2. Is there a reason why? Is mine a real Mopar? It definitely doesn’t look like aftermarket.
I liked it, but you forgot one, the 2010 limited edition that was Furious Fuchsia. Mechanically it was identical to the RT, but the colour was run for just a day.
It's been funny to watch you go from 'I answer all DMs' to 'I answer most DMs' I'm looking forward to 'I don't answer DMs so don't even bother' Great stuff as always man! Keep it up!
Great video, very informational. My 2016 Scat Pack Shaker I've learned through Dodge is a 1 of 9 made that year. Its pitch black/8 speed automatic/with all available options & packages for 2016...not limited or special edition but very rare
I really liked your video and learned about the special editions, in Dec 18' I did test drive a Mopar 17 silver/black manual at a local dodge dealer...before I ordered my 19" Scat Pack Shaker.
I sure as Hell hope so,been waiting for FCA to get onboard here with 6cyl turbos. They better put these in the Challys and Chargers,Ford has been the leader in that segment lately.Come on FCA PLEASE.PLEASE
I have a SXT 5.7L V8 2015 Dodge Challenger. It has the SXT package but the rest of the car is an R/T. The car wasn't modified in anyway after coming out the factory. Even the serial number says it's a SXT V8. Anyone any idea how this is possible? I can't find any information about it online. More weird things about it: It has SXT leather seats but a type of leather that is not available for the SXT. The car also didn't come with a spoiler. The previous owner installed one. The exhaust is very quiet. And with quiet I mean it gets beaten by a 4-cylinder on a cold start. Is it possible that it has the SXT exhausted?
My 2006 dodge daytona could perhaps one day be rare. I wonder in the yr 2019 how it should read, 137-? Luckily, mine is spartan inside and out, with only 132,000kms, performing like a champ. Mods: K&N CAI, HF Cats, MagnaFlow CatBk exhaust, stage 3, speed limiter delete, Vented Chally hood, FiberGlass vented fenders, performance plugs, spinning 20" hellcats
Love the Challenger with shaker hoods
Shaker hoods are cool and look real good on the mopars.

My first Challenger was a 2008 Challenger SRT8 with the Hemi Orange paint. It was number 4724 of 6400

An 8 speed manual would be weird tbh 🤔
😂 I always manage to say something wrong haha
@@MarspeedCars it's what makes us human man, great content as always
What about the 570x

Thanks man! I agree it’s such a beastly car! The 2014 100th anniversary was in Part 1 so I covered it there 💪🏽
Marspeed I know I saw it , I’m old and forgetful. LOL 😂
The Demon is my all time favorite car. It's just amazing.
6 speed automatic or 8 speed manual lmao @8:17.

Favorite?? Of course the demon!! I own number 472 fully optioned. Good job with the video. 👍🏻
Those dodge dart demons from early 70s were cool cars
Great video. I wonder what the 50th anniversary model will look like next year.
It'll probably have the hellephant
Just very normal but with a badge and multiple colors... aka extremly boring
Blubberbean hello from the future! It doesn’t :(
that mopar '14 and demon baby! get off me!
Fantastic coverage for this part 2.

The Challenger T/A hood would have been way cooler than the AAR hood, it was true in 1970 and it would've been true now,
I always thought MOPAR meant: Manufacturer Of Performance And Reliability!
Mopar10 crew! 18 of 100 here! Love it, best edition with most on it. Also T/A hood is the coolest
They need to make a mopar edition of the 2019 charger
I just ordered a dodge challenger RT scat pack widebody. Should be arriving April 29 of 2022. It will come fully loaded and I’m excited can’t wait to get it that one is my favorite. And of course it will have a shaker hood.
In my opinion dodges supercharger sounds way better than any other
Great video
More Challengers please 😎👍
4:38 , that steering wheel is better than new one ..
You got one thing wrong, it's 6speed manual and 8 speed automatic. Honest mistake no worries
I like the one in the thumbnail

Is mine a real Mopar?
It definitely doesn’t look like aftermarket.
Not to mention my 1of1 speedfactory mopar 10 challenger,or the saleen editions
I love my 2018 scat Pack shaker challenger! Way better than the camaro I had before it
Never knew that Mopar meant motor and parts. That makes sense because you're going to need both! Lol 😆
I liked it, but you forgot one, the 2010 limited edition that was Furious Fuchsia. Mechanically it was identical to the RT, but the colour was run for just a day.
My favorite Challenger was my 2011 Green with envy 392 Now it is My 2019 white knuckle 717 Hellcat! : )

There is in existence a 2008 Challenger SRT 8 with a six speed manual transmission. I personally owned one.
Thanks for another interesting video
Damn I saw a dart mopar limited here in canada and never knew it was such a rare car
My car may not be the most rare, but it is 1 of 150, so not bad
Still pretty darn rare!
I loved my Vitamin C Orange 14 Shaker hood Number1315 of 1500 made. Lossed it bc of divorced. I still see it every now and then

Was that dodge viper a special edition when it was sold with the demon ???
How many 1320’s challengers made?
My favorite is Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye 6 spd manual.
Redeye doesnt come in a manual. Only an 8 spd automatic
Have you even done a video on the 2020 Challenger 1320??? Only 412 made
1320 wasn’t even out when I had made this video! I will have to do an update one
Why don't you do one on the 2018 Dodge Challenger RT because I love that car I've got one and it is fun to drive
In 2017 there was a twister special. Edition and their is only six ever made
In 2017 the hell cat came in a one year only color green go And there were only 140 produced
What about the Dragpack?
FCA twin turbo inline 6. Confirmed
I sure as Hell hope so,been waiting for FCA to get onboard here with 6cyl turbos. They better put these in the Challys and Chargers,Ford has been the leader in that segment lately.Come on FCA PLEASE.PLEASE
