Because of you I've started cleaning a lot more. I just recently bought the oven cleaner on your list on Amazon and put it on a pan I got as a hand me down over 6 years ago. I can't believe the difference it's made. I forgot that I needed a steel daddy or scour sponge to fix the rest, but I'm getting there. Today I cleaned all the sinks. I got released from a mental institution just a while ago and am doing much better now, but when I got back home I had completely forgotten about the mess that had accumulated due to my mental illness. You'll be fine. Start with the "trashes" then the "dishes" set the timer for 20 mins and if you need a break set it for ten, then back at it for 20!!! Good Luck!!

Honestly, I love you. I suffer from depression and it often seems impossible to me to even do the tiniest bit of house chores. Most of the time I don't really realize how it gets worse and worse again until it's to late, and months go by until I have enough energy again to at least begin to care for my home again. At the moment my flat is very dirty, surfaces and old dishes feel weird and sticky and I find myself running away from the responsibility to clean this up. Now I found your videos and suddenly got so motivated to buy a few cleaning supplies and at least start somewhere. Thank you so much for that. By the way one of the biggest problems for me is that once it got dirty enough and I have a lot of trash to throw out I'm to embarrassed to walk outside my door with multiple filled and probably smelling trash bags and probably be seen by neighbours, let alone meeting them at the stairs or at the elevator and have to be near them when I try to face a problem that I really want no-one around me to know about.
Maybe you could bringt them out at night? One every night. So nobody will see you. Don't be embarressed. Be proud of yourself. One step every day. I wish you all the best! Hugs and love
I say this in the most loving, caring way. Nobody gives a shit about you. Your neighbours probably won't even register you walking past. And if they do, they probably just think you had some company over or are doing a deep clean. Watching my own thoughts about the people around me helped me realise that. Also, pro gamer tip from your friendly neighbourhood depressed mess: if you have lots of old icky dishes, put them in the sink, put a GENEROUS amount of dish soap on them, and fill the sink with hot water. And then just let it sit for an hour or two. This softens all the ick a lot and makes it way easier to clean everything. It also gives you a break to gather the energy to Do The Thing. Feel tired and can't keep going? Give everything a quick rinse, douse in soap again, and refill with hot water. It's not a race. Another tip: when cleaning surfaces, get a strong cleaning agent and let that do the work for you. Let it sit for a while and just wipe it off. If spending a couple extra dollars on cleaning products can help you tremendously with being able to clean, it's worth it.
I know it can feel really embarassing to be seen doing many of these things, but I promise it's not so bad! People have lots of reasons to move a few bags at once like buying nnew furniture and having to throw away the packaging. Peoples' first thought won't be a huge mess that grew over time since that's way less common that new furniture or doing a big deep clean of an already normally clean home.
She truly enjoys helping people get back on the right track. Nobody wants to live in these conditions, depression is a horrible thing. I’m so happy she is helping break the stigma and showing people it’s okay to ask for help when you need it

"Beautiful bowl of worms" is not a sentence I would have expected to ever hear. It really looks like the renter was suffering from some serious mental health issues, so I hope he has since gotten the help he needed. What you do for these people is truly kind.
I feel much worse for the owner of the apartment though. I mean, you can clean it as much as Auri has done (an excellent job as always), but as you can see the appliances, despite having being cleaned, look still trashy. Let's say that they look as if they were 10 years old, when maybe they are only 3 or 4 years old. This is so unfair to the poor owner of the place. I feel for him, rather than the lunatic that did that to the apartment.
It would be such a blessing to have someone help me. I don't have bowls of anything, but the dust and boxes and beans of keepsake clutter, is now nerve wrecking as I try to get help, which is too expensive and restart my life, since I pulled through from almost dying of a broken heart.
I really believe that someone helping someone like that could be very therapeutic. I have mental health issues and became a widow 5.5 years ago. My life has been hell without my organized, neat and prompt husband.

She's not doing it for free. She is doing it as a job. This is her channel. She offers free cleaning to get more views and makes millions. She also gets paid for all her affiliated items from sponsors etc . Scrub daddy etc. Its all for money. Teach your daughter to utilize someone else to earn money.

"Cleaning for free" isn't a good catchphrase because we want her to make nothing, it's good because the people who need help pay nothing. Sponsorships are common for people who do something for free, especially on youtube. She's very clearly sponsored by the products so I don't see a problem with it, especially for cleaning and mental health services. Something like NordVPN isn't related to her area of knowledge/content so I'd accept criticism of that, but advertising cleaning products that she's using makes total sense, and advertising mental health services when many of these homes become dirty due to mental health issues also makes sense. I especially think that these products make sense because they obviously work; she uses them for nearly everything in every video so if they weren't ideal I think she'd probably look for other sponsors rather than have to keep using products that make her life harder.

I’m pregnant and my husband works at 3 jobs, these days it’s difficult for us to clean our entire house the way we did before COVID and my pregnancy. Yesterday We manage to clean everything and repaint and redecorate the kitchen. We feel victorious 🥰🤣

Your utter joy and excitement for even the grossest of messes, to the point of slight disappointment for an easy one, is actually so inspiring. I’m someone who has always had difficulties with cleaning, even as a child. I just didn’t care. Now that I’m an adult, I’ve seen how messes can actually damage my home over time if they aren’t addressed. I go through cycles, where I quickly clean everything in a very incomplete way, mainly because I build up that momentum to clean but it burns out quickly…which then I leave again only for it to come back. I always cleaned begrudgingly, but I did find some small satisfaction to it. From your videos, you’re actually helping to retrain my thinking to enjoy cleaning and see it as a rewarding challenge! Not to mention the feeling of sitting down after a long day and just…enjoying the clear space, having room to move, having clean air, and fresh spaces…I’m still learning…still trying to retrain myself…but I have gotten much better! Now messes actually do stress me out (before it was just…neutral but embarrassing when others saw) and will motivate me to clean sooner, you and your videos are helping me to transmute that stress into excitement! I can't imagine cleaning this house without a mask on. The stuff that can become airborne could make someone really sick. Long term, a mask will be better for your health. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Definitely a biohazard clean up. Needs masks and a stronger chemical. There's a reason why these types of clean ups are usually expensive. The maggots and possible bodily fluids/waste that's there isn't good. Not sure about rodents as she didn't mention any, but that mold. She's an amazing person, but I want her to prioritize her health as well.

when my grandma died which was a shock for the whole family, especially my grandpa, I tried to be there for them all the time. I came home just to sleep, it was really hard. All my food in the fridge went bad and I threw it away without thinking because I had many other things in my mind. After my grandma's funeral, I came home and smelled an odd smell I have never smelled before not could locate where it was coming from. It wasn't particularly dirty in the house, as I haven't been home anyways. When I took out the "trashes" days later I found out that the meet I threw away without thinking led to flies putting their eggs in there, which, again, produced worms. many worms. that were crawling all around my dustbin.I nearly puked. I had to take it out and clean everything for a long time as they, when falling out, practically crawled everywhere. So, besides already being crushed on the floor, I now felt disgusted and exhausted and needed to clean additionally when all I needed was some rest and a break. It's hard to look after yourself when you have to look after others. It's hard to look after yourself when you're all alone. It's hard, when some traumatic events happened to you. Thanks, Auri, for helping those who are in difficult situations and can't help themselves anymore. Help without judgement is all they need. To this day I had never told anyone of this worms incident because I knew they all would have judged me. And it made it all so much harder Thanks for not doing that and making it easier for them

As a young adult I was alone and depressed and was unable to take care of my place. If I had lived alone for a few more years, I’m sure it would have looked exactly like in this vid. I want to say thanks for being respectful and understanding of these home occupants. The shame of living like this is immense, and it’s great that you are kind about it.

You dont really need it if you do cleaning on regular basis, dish soap will do the job most of the time :P But yes if there is some old grease involved, oven cleaner works miracles.

Hey there, i just wanted to say thank u :)) I was in a pretty darn bad state a while ago, horrible mental health and an absolute mess of a room. But finding your videos really inspired me to see cleaning as less of a chore and more as a fun thing. Ive since comepletely rearranged my room and made it a happy space instead of a shamefull and depressive space. What youre doing is amazing and im sure youre inpireing so so many people. :D thank you for your wonderfull personality and amazing message :))
Some of the times it can start with laziness, and then it becomes large burden itself-the whole dirty flat situation will be source of depression. So people have to find the will if the reason is being lazy, because health depends on keeping the flat in check.
@@adk5997 that’s kinda ableist. Mental health can’t be brushed off as laziness. You don’t know what they were dealing with and it’s not right to assume things got out of control because they simply didn’t feel like cleaning.
@@chrisjayphoto I am talking from experience here, so do not brush me off. Many times to catch the problem with cleaning early even if depression hits the high, helps with the depression itself. Enormously. And yes, the laziness can be a factor too! Let’s not pretend some bad flat situations not ended in depression because of being lazy at first! Surely happens often. I feel for the people, but my point is to keep taking trash out and wash dishes and clean little is basic to prevent depression/ or worsening of it.

She does an amazing job helping people. Other people would not do anything like this. So I don't know why half of these comments are so rude. She's helping people down on their luck. Would you do this for someone who really needed help??
I personally appreciate what she’s doing enormously. I would gladly help anyone clean if their home gets a little bit dirty. But i honestly would never ever struggle to clean such a home for someone that has 99% chances of make it look disgusting again. Because their low self esteem will manifest again, because depression doesn’t care about anything and has no respect for anyone. I understand that Auri takes this risk and has always said that she doesn’t care if the house gets dirty again. But i personally would only help someone fully willing to keep their house clean and not mocking my work. I’m just honest😅
people only care about doing something if it’s for money, in their eyes they think she’s being TOO generous as if she doesn’t get sponsored, and gets money from views. People wanna hoard money but she’s satisfied with what she has and actually enjoys cleaning unlike most people who would only do it for money or if it’s their own place.
@@Maria-fo1si it's been reported that having a clean home helps alleviate mental illness symptoms. Doesn't cure. But having a clean home can help take some of the mental load off. So chances are while they may get into another depression episode it may not be as severe due to having a cleaner home.

Learn from her on how to make money from others on what what you can offer and are good at. Tip :- When you bleach your loo overnight stick you loo brush in and leave it overnight to kill all the germs on the brush. NOTE :- Remember to remove brush before using the loo.
I'm glad the owner was noticed by you, you've done an amazing job. This might be the first time I've judged a person on your channel. I know how debilitating depression can be but you don't turn someone else's house and belongings into a pest infested dumpster. Depression does not free you from your responsibilities, they basically ruined the apartment. Such a shame the owner's brand new furniture and renovations were damaged by the tenant.
I feel that too , the poor man spent his money renovating the apartment and making it a really nice place to live only to have someone completely trash(es) it , that's horrible , Auri saved him from a massive bill for the cleanup , she's an angel for doing that.

Thank you for being excited to clean this place and not being in disgust. It’s more than likely the renter was suffering from depression or another mental illness. The fact that you come at this situation with such a positive attitude is refreshing to watch. I used to work with people with hoarding disorder, so I know this type of living situation doesn’t come with a happy state of mind.

I feel bad about the renter who did try to fix this on his own by calling a cleaning company (as I understand) but the cleaning person told the owner and I can only imagine the feelings of the renter when he found out he had been "ratted out" even if in the end it was the best for him so he gets help...
That part, I didn’t understand. If the renter contacted a cleaning company, why didn’t they do it? Too dirty? Or did they assume that such a disorganized person couldn’t pay?
@@steffidoc I assume that they saw it and thought "the house owner needs to know about this" (which I also think is not a very nice thing to do to someone who is clearly struggling... maybe they're obligated to do so but I dunno...). Maybe they put an offer but the renter was probably not too happy about the situation and the bill was so high that he looked elsewhere first? No idea how much this type of thing costs but I'd imagine it could be in the thousands (€) in an ordinary case in my country, but this is Finland (generally expensive) and also an extremely dirty place so ... But now listening to it again I am also confused as it seems that the house owner had to pay the bill. Maaaaybe it was included in the contract or something (like end-cleaning) but since it was so dirty the company had to inform the owner that it would get unusually expensive?
I would have called the landlord too! Cleaners generally charge per hour, by house size or the scale of the mess. This required a team and maybe they figured, due to the critters, that it would require professionals in sanitizing and fumigating. In such cases the landlord would be responsible for those services since they own the property.
@I Yeah, it’s a good thing they called the landlord. It’s sweet that everyone is so friendly with the tenant, but he basically destroyed the owners rental apartment. Having mental problems doesn’t mean, that you can cause other people huge damage and not be held responsible. The landlord put such work into renovating the place and maybe wanted a bit of extra income for his family. Had he payed for a cleaning service it would have more than destroyed his profits. And even after Auri cleaned the apartment so carefully, it still looks somewhat damaged. Destroying your rental apartment like that is not only a sign of (maybe) mental illness it’s also an aggressive act against the owner.
This reminds me of a story from uni a friend told me. When living in the dorm he shared a kitchen with an exchange student and each morning she would cook rice and put the pot with the leftovers on the windowsil. Next morning she would grab a new pot and do the same leaving everything to rot. When they confronted her about it, turns out her mom used to clean up after her every day and it never occured to her that she would have to do it herself now that she was living on her own, she didn't know how to clean or even that she had to and it makes me think that might be the case here too. Someone who was used to having their mom always clean after them moved away for the first time and just doesn't know the basic skills needed to live on their own. It's really sad and I hope he finds someone to show him how.
I know people like that who live with their parents and never did or do anything.since they were born they have someone who does everything to them they do not know responsibilities or skills in case something happens to their parents and they lose everything they would be in a more than serious problem. I feel sorry for people so they don't educate their children to train for life either. They do not know what it is to have a problem or anything else that they turn on the air conditioning and are all day inside playing video games or eating or on the cell phone. truly regrettable

I see renting as borrowing something really really important. I can't imagine treating something I'm borrowing this way. i understand that there's probably some mental issues going on but when something doesn't belong to me, I feel much more inclined to take as good care as I possibly can of that thing while it's in my possession
I don't think the comparison to borrowing is fair since you're paying for the place and usually quite a lot. I mean of course you should still treat it with respect but it's not really the same thing.
@@ciramelle it's not that because you are paying for it, then you can treat it as crap and ruin everything. It doesn't work like that. You cause damages, you pay for it. I think that in certain cases people use the mental issue problem as an excuse when they are just utterly lazy and filthy to begin with.
@@andromacha83 Damages are sometimes just expected from someone living in there. I mean in this case it's obviously been extremely neglected but you'd have to draw the line between normal damage and recklessness somewhere. I never said to treat the place like crap, obviously, just that I won't have to treat it like someone "kindly borrowed to me" either. Landlords are generating profit by basically overcharging someone for a place they bought and don't need to live in themselves (usually because they were already *very* financially comfortable). There is comparably little effort on their end for how much money it generates. I think as for the mental issues, your comment comes from a place of ignorance. I could never imagine letting a place get to this state, but I also can't imagine anyone else wants to live with so much filth and literally a bunch of worms. So I refrain from judgment.
@@ciramelle So you are saying that if somebody buys a place, or already has it and puts it out for rent as profit, then it is expected for the renter to possibly trash it, because afterall the landlord "makes so much profit over it"? Think also about the fact that if you own it you pay taxes on it, and you pay taxes also on the income it generates, plus you are also responsible for fixing up things that break and so forth and so on. As far as the "mental issues" are concerned, I can tell you based on experience: when we were looking for a place to buy for us to finally stop being renters, we went to see many places (in the end we bought an apartment in a building that was in the process of being built). Well I will never forget that we went to look at this place where there were two students who were renting it. We got there, and there was a lot of filth and trash on the floor, the shower was orange due to mildew, the door to the balcony of the kitchen was broken and kept in place by scotch tape, and behind it there were at least 4 black bags of trash. But what disgusted me the most was the toilet; while we didn't really take many steps in the bathroom, we could see it from the entrance of it that the toilet was all stained, and black/brown inside. It was just disgusting. The floors were all stained and dirty, and they had a cat that left feces on the floor but they didn't bother cleaning after it. And no, they were not mentally unstable. They were there jolly happy showing us around, saying that they couldn't wait to move out of that place because they were graduating and moving back home. And this was only one instance. But we saw at least other 3 places that were trashed more or less in the same way.

I like cleaning a lot more since I watch your videos :) with your tips I now clean a lot deeper - all the little ridges between furniture and appliances and grouts that the last renter left with grime and dried fat came out super clean. The scraper I got from your recommendation helped a lot. And the oven looks like new after I removed the knobs and so finally got the stains around them away. God she’s amazing. It makes me very happy to get to experience her positive non-judgemental attitude. Something that is and could be incredibly depressing; she turns into positive, uplifting, and oddly relaxing. She reshapes the chaos of some of the darkest times in someone else’s life, and seamlessly transforms it into a turned page of a new chapter of the book of life for someone in need. She seems to give and give so much, whilst not asking for anything in return (well, as far as I know or can see….in any case….). There’s not a lot of people like her these days. I've been suffering from depression and I totally relate to the people you're helping. I just thank god that I'm clean freak and I have a phobia of worms. That's why when I'm depressed I cope by cleaning my house.
Same - when my depression gets bad I’ll skip doing things like laundry, vacuuming, etc but I always make sure I take the trash out and clean any food messes up daily so I don’t get bugs/rodents. That bowl of worms made my skin crawl 🤢

she says when they're not ruined, she washes them in the washing machine. I don't know how many, but probably a few... soaking them in bleach might ruin the fibers and they will wear out more easily. I would use dish soap or even washing machine soap (?) and hot water to soak them for an hour or two and then wash them normally in the washing machine.
@@astrale-l3n I think dish soap won’t kill all that shit. I would rather soak them in hydrogen peroxide for example, or alcohol :) smth that actually kills bacteria :) Personally, I would rather prefer the structure being worn out but w/o bacteria :)

I often find myself drifting back to these videos and it's always surreal for me. I have at NO point ever lived in a house that became anywhere near this bad, but I have lived in similar situations. Mental health issues run in the family and there're been an unfortunate amount of times where our homes became pretty filthy. I think it's hard for some people to comprehend how someone could find themselves in a situation like this but, when severely depressed, cleaning the kitchen is like being asked to run a marathon.
Because of you I've started cleaning a lot more. I just recently bought the oven cleaner on your list on Amazon and put it on a pan I got as a hand me down over 6 years ago. I can't believe the difference it's made. I forgot that I needed a steel daddy or scour sponge to fix the rest, but I'm getting there. Today I cleaned all the sinks. Thank you SO MUCH for your teachings, as well as your positive attitude.

Honestly, I love you. I suffer from depression and it often seems impossible to me to even do the tiniest bit of house chores. Most of the time I don't really realize how it gets worse and worse again until it's to late, and months go by until I have enough energy again to at least begin to care for my home again. At the moment my flat is very dirty, surfaces and old dishes feel weird and sticky and I find myself running away from the responsibility to clean this up. Now I found your videos and suddenly got so motivated to buy a few cleaning supplies and at least start somewhere. Thank you so much for that.
By the way one of the biggest problems for me is that once it got dirty enough and I have a lot of trash to throw out I'm to embarrassed to walk outside my door with multiple filled and probably smelling trash bags and probably be seen by neighbours, let alone meeting them at the stairs or at the elevator and have to be near them when I try to face a problem that I really want no-one around me to know about.
Maybe you could bringt them out at night? One every night. So nobody will see you. Don't be embarressed. Be proud of yourself. One step every day. I wish you all the best! Hugs and love

Your neighbours probably won't even register you walking past. And if they do, they probably just think you had some company over or are doing a deep clean.
Watching my own thoughts about the people around me helped me realise that.
Also, pro gamer tip from your friendly neighbourhood depressed mess: if you have lots of old icky dishes, put them in the sink, put a GENEROUS amount of dish soap on them, and fill the sink with hot water. And then just let it sit for an hour or two. This softens all the ick a lot and makes it way easier to clean everything. It also gives you a break to gather the energy to Do The Thing. Feel tired and can't keep going? Give everything a quick rinse, douse in soap again, and refill with hot water. It's not a race.
Another tip: when cleaning surfaces, get a strong cleaning agent and let that do the work for you. Let it sit for a while and just wipe it off. If spending a couple extra dollars on cleaning products can help you tremendously with being able to clean, it's worth it.
Count you, heal you...let the shame and every day make a small change...Good luck and i hope you feel good...🤗
I know it can feel really embarassing to be seen doing many of these things, but I promise it's not so bad! People have lots of reasons to move a few bags at once like buying nnew furniture and having to throw away the packaging. Peoples' first thought won't be a huge mess that grew over time since that's way less common that new furniture or doing a big deep clean of an already normally clean home.

"Beautiful bowl of worms" is not a sentence I would have expected to ever hear. It really looks like the renter was suffering from some serious mental health issues, so I hope he has since gotten the help he needed. What you do for these people is truly kind.
I feel much worse for the owner of the apartment though. I mean, you can clean it as much as Auri has done (an excellent job as always), but as you can see the appliances, despite having being cleaned, look still trashy. Let's say that they look as if they were 10 years old, when maybe they are only 3 or 4 years old. This is so unfair to the poor owner of the place. I feel for him, rather than the lunatic that did that to the apartment.
It would be such a blessing to have someone help me. I don't have bowls of anything, but the dust and boxes and beans of keepsake clutter, is now nerve wrecking as I try to get help, which is too expensive and restart my life, since I pulled through from almost dying of a broken heart.
I really believe that someone helping someone like that could be very therapeutic. I have mental health issues and became a widow 5.5 years ago. My life has been hell without my organized, neat and prompt husband.

"Cleaning for free" isn't a good catchphrase because we want her to make nothing, it's good because the people who need help pay nothing. Sponsorships are common for people who do something for free, especially on youtube. She's very clearly sponsored by the products so I don't see a problem with it, especially for cleaning and mental health services.
Something like NordVPN isn't related to her area of knowledge/content so I'd accept criticism of that, but advertising cleaning products that she's using makes total sense, and advertising mental health services when many of these homes become dirty due to mental health issues also makes sense. I especially think that these products make sense because they obviously work; she uses them for nearly everything in every video so if they weren't ideal I think she'd probably look for other sponsors rather than have to keep using products that make her life harder.

I’m pregnant and my husband works at 3 jobs, these days it’s difficult for us to clean our entire house the way we did before COVID and my pregnancy. Yesterday We manage to clean everything and repaint and redecorate the kitchen. We feel victorious 🥰🤣

Your utter joy and excitement for even the grossest of messes, to the point of slight disappointment for an easy one, is actually so inspiring. I’m someone who has always had difficulties with cleaning, even as a child. I just didn’t care. Now that I’m an adult, I’ve seen how messes can actually damage my home over time if they aren’t addressed. I go through cycles, where I quickly clean everything in a very incomplete way, mainly because I build up that momentum to clean but it burns out quickly…which then I leave again only for it to come back.
I always cleaned begrudgingly, but I did find some small satisfaction to it. From your videos, you’re actually helping to retrain my thinking to enjoy cleaning and see it as a rewarding challenge! Not to mention the feeling of sitting down after a long day and just…enjoying the clear space, having room to move, having clean air, and fresh spaces…I’m still learning…still trying to retrain myself…but I have gotten much better! Now messes actually do stress me out (before it was just…neutral but embarrassing when others saw) and will motivate me to clean sooner, you and your videos are helping me to transmute that stress into excitement!

I can't imagine cleaning this house without a mask on. The stuff that can become airborne could make someone really sick. Long term, a mask will be better for your health. Keep up the great work and stay safe.

Definitely a biohazard clean up. Needs masks and a stronger chemical. There's a reason why these types of clean ups are usually expensive. The maggots and possible bodily fluids/waste that's there isn't good. Not sure about rodents as she didn't mention any, but that mold. She's an amazing person, but I want her to prioritize her health as well.
Just the smell of all the chemicals she uses would put me off. Necessary but still.
I agree with that level of filth and mold she should wear a good mask. Also worry she breathes in all those oven cleaner fumes.
she does occasionally wear surgical masks but she should invest in a heavy duty mask with filters and such. im sure she will soon :)

when my grandma died which was a shock for the whole family, especially my grandpa, I tried to be there for them all the time. I came home just to sleep, it was really hard. All my food in the fridge went bad and I threw it away without thinking because I had many other things in my mind. After my grandma's funeral, I came home and smelled an odd smell I have never smelled before not could locate where it was coming from. It wasn't particularly dirty in the house, as I haven't been home anyways. When I took out the "trashes" days later I found out that the meet I threw away without thinking led to flies putting their eggs in there, which, again, produced worms. many worms. that were crawling all around my dustbin.I nearly puked. I had to take it out and clean everything for a long time as they, when falling out, practically crawled everywhere. So, besides already being crushed on the floor, I now felt disgusted and exhausted and needed to clean additionally when all I needed was some rest and a break. It's hard to look after yourself when you have to look after others. It's hard to look after yourself when you're all alone. It's hard, when some traumatic events happened to you.
Thanks, Auri, for helping those who are in difficult situations and can't help themselves anymore. Help without judgement is all they need.

I was in a pretty darn bad state a while ago, horrible mental health and an absolute mess of a room. But finding your videos really inspired me to see cleaning as less of a chore and more as a fun thing. Ive since comepletely rearranged my room and made it a happy space instead of a shamefull and depressive space. What youre doing is amazing and im sure youre inpireing so so many people. :D

they will never telll you even if you ask someone how are you? they will say just fine.
Some of the times it can start with laziness, and then it becomes large burden itself-the whole dirty flat situation will be source of depression. So people have to find the will if the reason is being lazy, because health depends on keeping the flat in check.
@@adk5997 that’s kinda ableist. Mental health can’t be brushed off as laziness. You don’t know what they were dealing with and it’s not right to assume things got out of control because they simply didn’t feel like cleaning.
@@chrisjayphoto I am talking from experience here, so do not brush me off. Many times to catch the problem with cleaning early even if depression hits the high, helps with the depression itself. Enormously. And yes, the laziness can be a factor too! Let’s not pretend some bad flat situations not ended in depression because of being lazy at first! Surely happens often. I feel for the people, but my point is to keep taking trash out and wash dishes and clean little is basic to prevent depression/ or worsening of it.

She does an amazing job helping people. Other people would not do anything like this. So I don't know why half of these comments are so rude. She's helping people down on their luck. Would you do this for someone who really needed help??
I personally appreciate what she’s doing enormously. I would gladly help anyone clean if their home gets a little bit dirty. But i honestly would never ever struggle to clean such a home for someone that has 99% chances of make it look disgusting again. Because their low self esteem will manifest again, because depression doesn’t care about anything and has no respect for anyone. I understand that Auri takes this risk and has always said that she doesn’t care if the house gets dirty again. But i personally would only help someone fully willing to keep their house clean and not mocking my work. I’m just honest😅
people only care about doing something if it’s for money, in their eyes they think she’s being TOO generous as if she doesn’t get sponsored, and gets money from views. People wanna hoard money but she’s satisfied with what she has and actually enjoys cleaning unlike most people who would only do it for money or if it’s their own place.
@@Maria-fo1si it's been reported that having a clean home helps alleviate mental illness symptoms. Doesn't cure. But having a clean home can help take some of the mental load off. So chances are while they may get into another depression episode it may not be as severe due to having a cleaner home.

Her channel has so many followers and views...she is making money 💰. I want to emulate this. Money leaves trails . Learn from her on how to make money from others on what what you can offer and are good at. Tip :- When you bleach your loo overnight stick you loo brush in and leave it overnight to kill all the germs on the brush. NOTE :- Remember to remove brush before using the loo.
I'm glad the owner was noticed by you, you've done an amazing job. This might be the first time I've judged a person on your channel. I know how debilitating depression can be but you don't turn someone else's house and belongings into a pest infested dumpster. Depression does not free you from your responsibilities, they basically ruined the apartment. Such a shame the owner's brand new furniture and renovations were damaged by the tenant.
I feel that too , the poor man spent his money renovating the apartment and making it a really nice place to live only to have someone completely trash(es) it , that's horrible , Auri saved him from a massive bill for the cleanup , she's an angel for doing that.

Thank you for being excited to clean this place and not being in disgust. It’s more than likely the renter was suffering from depression or another mental illness. The fact that you come at this situation with such a positive attitude is refreshing to watch. I used to work with people with hoarding disorder, so I know this type of living situation doesn’t come with a happy state of mind.

I feel bad about the renter who did try to fix this on his own by calling a cleaning company (as I understand) but the cleaning person told the owner and I can only imagine the feelings of the renter when he found out he had been "ratted out" even if in the end it was the best for him so he gets help...
That part, I didn’t understand. If the renter contacted a cleaning company, why didn’t they do it? Too dirty? Or did they assume that such a disorganized person couldn’t pay?
They probably didn’t expect such a big mess, and refused to clean it or wouldve requested much more money
@@steffidoc I assume that they saw it and thought "the house owner needs to know about this" (which I also think is not a very nice thing to do to someone who is clearly struggling... maybe they're obligated to do so but I dunno...).
Maybe they put an offer but the renter was probably not too happy about the situation and the bill was so high that he looked elsewhere first? No idea how much this type of thing costs but I'd imagine it could be in the thousands (€) in an ordinary case in my country, but this is Finland (generally expensive) and also an extremely dirty place so ...
But now listening to it again I am also confused as it seems that the house owner had to pay the bill. Maaaaybe it was included in the contract or something (like end-cleaning) but since it was so dirty the company had to inform the owner that it would get unusually expensive?
I would have called the landlord too! Cleaners generally charge per hour, by house size or the scale of the mess. This required a team and maybe they figured, due to the critters, that it would require professionals in sanitizing and fumigating. In such cases the landlord would be responsible for those services since they own the property.

It’s sweet that everyone is so friendly with the tenant, but he basically destroyed the owners rental apartment.
Having mental problems doesn’t mean, that you can cause other people huge damage and not be held responsible.
The landlord put such work into renovating the place and maybe wanted a bit of extra income for his family. Had he payed for a cleaning service it would have more than destroyed his profits.
And even after Auri cleaned the apartment so carefully, it still looks somewhat damaged.
Destroying your rental apartment like that is not only a sign of (maybe) mental illness it’s also an aggressive act against the owner.

This reminds me of a story from uni a friend told me. When living in the dorm he shared a kitchen with an exchange student and each morning she would cook rice and put the pot with the leftovers on the windowsil. Next morning she would grab a new pot and do the same leaving everything to rot. When they confronted her about it, turns out her mom used to clean up after her every day and it never occured to her that she would have to do it herself now that she was living on her own, she didn't know how to clean or even that she had to and it makes me think that might be the case here too. Someone who was used to having their mom always clean after them moved away for the first time and just doesn't know the basic skills needed to live on their own. It's really sad and I hope he finds someone to show him how.
I know people like that who live with their parents and never did or do anything.since they were born they have someone who does everything to them they do not know responsibilities or skills in case something happens to their parents and they lose everything they would be in a more than serious problem. I feel sorry for people so they don't educate their children to train for life either. They do not know what it is to have a problem or anything else that they turn on the air conditioning and are all day inside playing video games or eating or on the cell phone. truly regrettable
Though if he was a chef I presume he would know the dangers that lurk in a filthy environment and how to avoid it.

I see renting as borrowing something really really important. I can't imagine treating something I'm borrowing this way. i understand that there's probably some mental issues going on but when something doesn't belong to me, I feel much more inclined to take as good care as I possibly can of that thing while it's in my possession
I don't think the comparison to borrowing is fair since you're paying for the place and usually quite a lot.
I mean of course you should still treat it with respect but it's not really the same thing.
@@ciramelle it's not that because you are paying for it, then you can treat it as crap and ruin everything. It doesn't work like that. You cause damages, you pay for it. I think that in certain cases people use the mental issue problem as an excuse when they are just utterly lazy and filthy to begin with.
@@andromacha83 Damages are sometimes just expected from someone living in there. I mean in this case it's obviously been extremely neglected but you'd have to draw the line between normal damage and recklessness somewhere.
I never said to treat the place like crap, obviously, just that I won't have to treat it like someone "kindly borrowed to me" either. Landlords are generating profit by basically overcharging someone for a place they bought and don't need to live in themselves (usually because they were already *very* financially comfortable). There is comparably little effort on their end for how much money it generates.
I think as for the mental issues, your comment comes from a place of ignorance. I could never imagine letting a place get to this state, but I also can't imagine anyone else wants to live with so much filth and literally a bunch of worms. So I refrain from judgment.
@@ciramelle So you are saying that if somebody buys a place, or already has it and puts it out for rent as profit, then it is expected for the renter to possibly trash it, because afterall the landlord "makes so much profit over it"? Think also about the fact that if you own it you pay taxes on it, and you pay taxes also on the income it generates, plus you are also responsible for fixing up things that break and so forth and so on. As far as the "mental issues" are concerned, I can tell you based on experience: when we were looking for a place to buy for us to finally stop being renters, we went to see many places (in the end we bought an apartment in a building that was in the process of being built). Well I will never forget that we went to look at this place where there were two students who were renting it. We got there, and there was a lot of filth and trash on the floor, the shower was orange due to mildew, the door to the balcony of the kitchen was broken and kept in place by scotch tape, and behind it there were at least 4 black bags of trash. But what disgusted me the most was the toilet; while we didn't really take many steps in the bathroom, we could see it from the entrance of it that the toilet was all stained, and black/brown inside. It was just disgusting. The floors were all stained and dirty, and they had a cat that left feces on the floor but they didn't bother cleaning after it. And no, they were not mentally unstable. They were there jolly happy showing us around, saying that they couldn't wait to move out of that place because they were graduating and moving back home. And this was only one instance. But we saw at least other 3 places that were trashed more or less in the same way.

I like cleaning a lot more since I watch your videos :) with your tips I now clean a lot deeper - all the little ridges between furniture and appliances and grouts that the last renter left with grime and dried fat came out super clean. The scraper I got from your recommendation helped a lot. And the oven looks like new after I removed the knobs and so finally got the stains around them away. God she’s amazing. It makes me very happy to get to experience her positive non-judgemental attitude. Something that is and could be incredibly depressing; she turns into positive, uplifting, and oddly relaxing. She reshapes the chaos of some of the darkest times in someone else’s life, and seamlessly transforms it into a turned page of a new chapter of the book of life for someone in need. She seems to give and give so much, whilst not asking for anything in return (well, as far as I know or can see….in any case….). There’s not a lot of people like her these days. I've been suffering from depression and I totally relate to the people you're helping. I just thank god that I'm clean freak and I have a phobia of worms. That's why when I'm depressed I cope by cleaning my house.
Same. When things are bad for me I am on the floor scrubbing and deep cleaning. If my mind is a mess, at least my house isn’t 😅
Same - when my depression gets bad I’ll skip doing things like laundry, vacuuming, etc but I always make sure I take the trash out and clean any food messes up daily so I don’t get bugs/rodents.

probably soak them in bleach could help :) I feel like there’s a minimum of 10 fibercloths :)
she says when they're not ruined, she washes them in the washing machine. I don't know how many, but probably a few... soaking them in bleach might ruin the fibers and they will wear out more easily. I would use dish soap or even washing machine soap (?) and hot water to soak them for an hour or two and then wash them normally in the washing machine.
@@astrale-l3n I think dish soap won’t kill all that shit. I would rather soak them in hydrogen peroxide for example, or alcohol :) smth that actually kills bacteria :) Personally, I would rather prefer the structure being worn out but w/o bacteria :)
@@enfisya you can do that after the hot water then. Hot water is for dissolving the dirt, not for bacteria. Either way, it won't be sterile anyway.

I often find myself drifting back to these videos and it's always surreal for me. I have at NO point ever lived in a house that became anywhere near this bad, but I have lived in similar situations. Mental health issues run in the family and there're been an unfortunate amount of times where our homes became pretty filthy. I think it's hard for some people to comprehend how someone could find themselves in a situation like this but, when severely depressed, cleaning the kitchen is like being asked to run a marathon.
