Hi TH-cam Fam,
I am sorry I was not able to post on my regular schedule yesterday due to technical difficulties. I wanted to make sure I did post and give you this much anticipated DIY of a accent wall I did in my staircase. it is such a statement piece.
Please do not be fooled this is a medium difficult design but it did get easier. I found this design on Pine + poplar website. I have linked the website below. There is also a cut list which makes the design so much easier. It is color coded and tells you where each of the pieces go. Click on the site and you will have access to the cut list which is free. There is also a picture of it on my Instagram Highlights.
I apologize for my battery dying in the beginning of the video so you couldn't see the first few pieces being installed. However if you follow me on Instagram you will see my insight on getting it started in my "staircase" highlights.
If you have questions I will try and answer them as best as I can. Hope you enjoy! Happy Holiday!
Ciao

Damn why she gotta look good all the time… I’m sorry I was trying to pay attention, I fell in love ❤❤❤😂
I have been in my home 6 months. My staircase has the different levels like yours. I didn't know what to do with that wall because of the different levels. This has helped me so much! Thank you for sharing this.
Very nice. All your hard work paid off.
Happy Holidays!
Looks amazing!!! Great job
I absolutely love it. Great job you all.
You just added so much more value to that home. That is so beautiful, such a great idea! Thx for sharing it w/ us!
Yes! Thank you for watching!
It turned out beautifully ❤
It’s absolutely beautiful
Really complex design. Looks great!
The cut list is useless because they used 3/4 x 1/2 and you and I used 1x2. They are not interchangeable and probably why you finished 1 inch off. I also used 1x2x8 so I cut the long pieces at 48 so as to get 2 out of each board. From there it was much easier than using the cut list provided. I love the pattern and thank you for providing it. I also painted everything before installing it.
Love it. You are so talented and you make your home a beautiful place to live in
Thank you so much!
It looks so good!!!
Thank you 🙏🏽
This is amazing!!
Thank you
Yassssss boo the mad Genius strikes again 🤣🤣🤣 it came out fire 🔥 luv it, I know when you started you was about to lose your mind, but as you can see 👀 your brain 🧠 is brilliant 👏🏽 😉 🖤🤎
That wall is gorgeous! I’d love to see it from a distance with the whole area in the picture. I thought the window being a little off would be noticeable but after you finished, it wasn't.
There are other views of the wall on my Instagram if you want to see it there IG: @stac1a_d
It really looks amazing. So for the slats you mix the primer with a little bit of black, is that the satin or the flat black?
I believe black.. I ask the paint department to do it for me
You have a great carpenter as an assistant. Use him on most of your projects?
Thank you. Yes we are a great team.
His do you know WHERE to start?
The design just keeps repeating itself so I measured the center of my wall and put my first cross… I didn’t put any specific height I just placed it and went with it 😁
@@staciakarcher It’s beautiful
that must be lot of cleaning when dust settles
It does get dusty just like everything else.. but it’s cleaned on a regular basis just like the rest of the house
Awesome job!! You're beyond beautiful ;-) now that you are single, drink sometime? lol
