      Thank you your one of the few that like em, We have used many brands over the years and this has been a great one, and does not break the bank either, but we find a higher catch ratio using the larger pan and dogless system.

      Thank you, I mean salt would be faster but would Rott the steel which is no good. The key with rusting is you want weeks of rust build up, I am rushing it this season with this 2 dozen, but next season ill have the full video on removing wax, dying and waxing. Thanks for watching.

      Your welcome brotha, yea most people never rust the first season, but I just find the camo is best with rust. Dye needs something to stick to if your gonna dye them also helps the wax stick to something. Thanks for watching and the awesome support, just hit that 1k last night hit my goal with 4 hours to spare.

    Can you tell me if you need to re rust traps every season? Or just throw them in the dye every year with the old coating of dye still on

  • @waylonlegend4603
    @waylonlegend4603 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you rust, wash then wax? How deep should the rust be. Mine are surface rusted but it wipes off

    • @paparomesoutdoors711
      @paparomesoutdoors711  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I wash first then rust then dye and then wax. Many ppl skip the rusting steps especially if they are new you then don’t need to rust and dye them. For me I just prefer rust to blend in my traps in stream sets where coyotes cross

    I just put them out in the yard for about a week and they rust after there degrease

    • @paparomesoutdoors711
      @paparomesoutdoors711  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yea that will work as well, I noticed i had more thicker faster rust though, we used to let them hang all summer even back in the day, but this just speeds it up a bit, but it all works. thanks for watching
